After the discussion with his sister, Ezra had validated a thought that was in his mind, he had wondered why even twelve-year-olds in this world were able to comprehend certain things.
He searched all through his memories, and using what he had observed, he understood that growth in this world was vastly different from that earth.
The brain of a twelve-year-old here was comparable to that of a fifteen or sixteen-year-old on earth. This was also the reason the academy accepted them so young.
He hadn't thought about it much, but when his sister told him she was asked out, he had to think about the matter. His sister cooked and cleaned and did chores that a twelve-year-old from Earth wouldn't do.
He also noticed that she had begun developing, her chest was not utterly flat and her hips had started getting some much-needed curves.
He didn't know why this was so, but he attributed it to the fact that this world had magic and martial arts. There was no way that the bodily constitution of people here would be the same as those of Earth.

The rays of the sun announced the next day, their light shined on the skin of the bare-chested boy practicing his martial arts in the room.
"Morning already? I didn't catch a second of sleep." Ezra murmured.
He had his whole day planned out already, this morning he would head to meet Oliver, while his sister would prepare his meeting with Leo in the afternoon. After that, they would both have a training session to close the day.
Ezra quickly took a bath and headed down, everyone was already up, his dad was out back sorting some wares that he had to deliver to customers later today.
His mum and Lisa were already done with breakfast, they set the table and started serving.
Ezra took his seat and immediately fell into thought.
'I have read a lot of novels and manga, and anyone that is lucky to transmigrate never has a full loving family, something is always an issue.
Yet I have one, and it is unsettling because, for those novels that gave the main character a full family, they would face a peril like the loss of a family member in the future.
I don't want to love them to later lose one of them in the future. No, even if that is the norm, I'll break that norm. My mum, my dad, and most especially Lisa, I'll protect them even if it kills me.'
Knock!
Ezra felt a fist slam his head, enough to bring him back, but not hurt too much.
"Why are you spacing out this early son? You should have finished all your dreams last night." Robert said to him.
He had come into the kitchen just some seconds after Ezra and was about to sit down.
"You could have just called my name rather than hit my head," Ezra complained.
"Where is the fun in that?" His father chuckled and sat done to eat.
'I promise, I'll protect them no matter what, they belong to me, and I'd rather die than let them get hurt.' Ezra promised himself.
After breakfast, Ezra left the house and headed to the dojo. Luckily, Oliver was still at home.
"Good morning Sir Oliver." Ezra greeted with respect.
"Hmm, young Ezra, seems you are back, how was your exam?" Oliver asked, he sat cross-legged at the center of the dojo, while Ezra stood closer to the door.
"It went well, I passed the first stage," Ezra said.
"Hmm, very good, soon you will be off to greatness, magic, and martial arts. I look forward to the exploits that you will carry out." Oliver said in an optimistic tone.
"I'll be sure to make you proud sir," Ezra said.
"Hmm, very good. Now about what you asked of me before you left, I went digging and I found information about the man." Oliver brought out the good news.
'whoa, I didn't think he would have something this early, a saint is really formidable.'
"I am very grateful for the assistance," Ezra said.
"Well, I won't give you the information yet, you must do something to get it," Oliver said, the room suddenly became chilly and oppressive.
Ezra immediately became serious, he regretted the fact that he didn't bring his scythe with him.
'what is this old man trying to pull?'
"How much do you want this darkness mage dead?" Oliver asked.
Ezra was confused by the sudden question, but he still answered.
"I would do anything within my power to see him dead," Ezra spoke with conviction.
"Is that so? Then bow to me, kiss the floor, and beg me for this information." Oliver requested.
Ezra's eyes widened when he heard that, then they closed into slits.
"Normally I would bow my head to greet you and appreciate all that you have done, thanking you for your aid.
I would have also bowed my head to thank you after receiving the information, I am not foreign to gratitude.
But as for what you asked, I can't do that, I will not go as low as to touch my head on the ground and beg you when I have gained nothing.
That makes you superior to me, and that makes me nothing than a lowly piece of crap. I won't bow or beg for that sort of help.
I know it seems like something normal, and you have the right to ask me to do that, but I won't do it, my body refuses to do it, my mind as well." Ezra gave his refusal without missing a word.
"Hmm, you said that would make me look superior? Am I not superior?" Oliver asked, using his aura to pressure Ezra.
"In the matter of strength, wisdom, experience, in fact, everything, you are my superior.
But that is because of age, and I can tell you with doubt that I will be stronger than the current you before I get to your age, and as such, I am not inferior, it is but a matter of time."
"Hahahaha, you really crack me up boy, you and your wonky ideals and beliefs. Still, the mindset you have will take you far, sure it will also have a lot of troubles, but I believe that you will be able to get passed them.
You passed my test, and you deserve your reward, come and take the information that I have gathered. In all my years, there have only been a few students that have made me proud as you have." Oliver spoke in a joyous voice.
