Victoria looked up at Gideon and the two were silent for a moment.
"Hey." Victoria said with a weak smile and pushed herself off the wall, however, she was still weak and stumbled.
Gideon flashed to her side and carried her up princess style before she hit the ground.
"I don't think I need to tell you to conserve your strength, do I?" Gideon said in a stern voice. Though the relief and joy in his eyes showed how he truly felt.
"Sorry, I got too excited." Victoria apologized sheepishly. She wasn't sure how long she'd been in there, she just knew that it was long enough for her to miss everyone greatly.
She opened her mouth to say something, but Gideon shushed her and raised her to touch his forehead against hers.
"I know you're eager to talk, but right now, just rest. I'll get you something to eat." He pulled back and Victoria nodded feeling warm inside. She missed this feeling.
