Kapitel 73: Aftermath

The prickly sensations that came with my magic had turned out to be easier controlled when I put my mind to it. The tremors and bursts of tiny light bulbs eventually stopped after a few seconds and the crowds in due course were evacuated into the open fields.

I had my eyes closed the entire time that I tried to stop my powers from destroying anything further.

I could feel people were still shuffling around me – probably those that were unable to get out fast enough.

The ones that were pushed aside by those who didn't care for their fellow festival goers.

There were those that bumped into me, and I opened my eyes to see nothing but darkness still.

It seems like there were no lights left to illuminate the tent.

I felt someone pull me and I crashed on to something hard.

Arms wrapped around me and I tried to push the person away, thinking it was someone who was trying to take advantage of the dark.
