Kapitel 59: We deserve to be happy

It was 5 p.m. Seoul time, South Korea.

Valerie gazed at Damian, still asleep beside her, his arms wrapped around her waist, both of them wearing only a blanket around their waists. She stroked his slightly rough jawline as if pondering something.

"I think I rushed into this decision, but I can't bear to see you struggle. Now I'm really afraid... What if your father finds out and makes a big deal out of it... How will I face this? It seems like I'll sink deeper into fear, trauma..." she thought, full of regret and dilemma, her eyes welling up.

"Now what should I do? I don't want to be away from you again... I can't deny that everything feels easier since we got back together... My heart is a bit calmer... I feel like I've found the direction for my future again..."

Damian slowly opened his eyes, furrowing his brows when he saw Valerie teary-eyed.
