Kapitel 53: Hannah's lies

Hannah walked along the metallic-toned corridor, so large, passing rows of slightly wide-spaced doors until she stopped in front of door number 564.

"I need to make sure I still look pretty," she said, quickly grabbing her phone from her dusty bag, and then opening the front camera to check herself.

"Oh, my hair is a bit messy!"

She tidied her long hair with her fingers, then applied the perfume she had in her bag.

"Well, I guess now I'm much better than Valerie," she said, looking down at herself in a dark green dress suit.

She put her phone away and promptly knocked on the door.

Within seconds, the door opened. She saw Samuel, who immediately fell silent, staring at her so seriously.

"What?" she asked, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Nothing..." Samuel smiled thinly. "Come in..." He then entered the room.

Hannah smiled, following Samuel as he closed the door behind them.
