Kapitel 1: Chapter 1: Monsters
Monsters are considered ugly, and frightening creatures. Although, that's not a lie, it's not the entire truth. Monsters are creatures that only live to survive, same to all inhuman races and humans themselves. However, humans don't seem to recognize this truth and think that their lives have significant value in the world. Not only that mind set is foolish but it is also pitiful. Even so, that mind set is the very reason for humans evolution.
In this world, there resides a balance. This balance decided the fate of the world. If the balance becomes uneven, the world will be engulfed with chaos and destruction. On this balance, there are two living beings: Humanity and Monster kind. Lately there has been a lot of humans, too many humans. While monsters numbers have only been diminishing greatly. It's because humans are rarely dying and monsters are getting killed more often. Leaving to one conclusion, humans are hunting monsters for sport.
The king of monster knew of this fact and took action. However, it only lead him to his downfall. The king tried to chase after the humans, but instead of running away the humans fought back. Returning to his castle defeated and at the break of death, the king's only son tried to aid his father but it was no used. The king's wounds were far too deep and severe, no amount of healing magic could have saved his majesty that day.
The king's son watches his father's last moments in front of him. The king whispers his final words, which his son heard.
"Ploúton, my son. Heed these words of the monster who is your father, for these words will be my last," failing to hide his tears, Ploúton nodded as he agreed to his father's request.
"My child, this world has been unbalanced. You will see that truth first hand when you inherit the throne. When you do, please do not cause war upon the humans. That's the last thing this world needs," even when filled with frustration, Ploúton managed to hold back his rage and continued to listen he king's words.
"Ploúton, the world is vast and wonderous. But it is also vested with humans, needless to say I still would love for you to explore and travel," the king reached out his bloodied hand towards his son and rested it on face, while wiping away his son's tears.
"Ploúton... my beloved son. Can you grant an old monster request?" Ploúton nodded his head as he leaned closer to hear his father request.
"Free our people from the clutches of humanity, this is my final request..." and with a faint smile, the king passed away. Ploúton held his head close to his chest as he mourns over his father's death.
"Father... I swear on your name, I will grant our people freedom,"
