"Hm… right, we don't know if this Young Man will marry you in the future, but at least he has a goodwill to meet us," Mr. Shi said. He nodded and patted Yang Menghuo's shoulder. "Young man, I appreciate your goodwill to come here. That's commendable, at least."

Yang Menghuo was pissed when he heard that. They made it as if he didn't like to be here and was forced with his Jie. 

Even worse, his Ying Jie told him to stop speaking because it would give Mr. and Mrs. Shi hopes about the future. 

'What's wrong about the future? Isn't that the most important thing? That's literally the reason I come here! I want to marry Ying Jie!' Meng Bao complained in his heart, but he wasn't allowed to speak because Ying Jie banned him from doing it.
