Kapitel 98: Alteration, III

Hmm… Surprisingly, death is calmer than I had expected it to be. I came to realize this new fact as I thought to myself. I didn't have a mouth to speak with, after all.

It is calm, it is quiet, and it is peaceful. All these fit the criteria of how I wished to live my life, both the former and the current one. Which never came to be.

So, I like how it is here, I love it.

I have no worries, I can just wander seamlessly without thinking about anyone or anything.

"…"

"Worries."

"Hah," I scoffed to myself. 

Who do I think I am to consider my comrades as worries? I thought in contempt to myself.

Deep down, even I realize that I think of myself as a better human in comparison to them.

I am more powerful in the magic aspect, swift to take decisions, smart… And these are just contents that fuel the fire of my arrogance and egoism.

It is also one of the reasons I hate myself.
