She clutched on her chest when the door opened. It was not like she had removed a clothing, but there was something about being in the bathroom that felt improper to be seen like this. "W-what do you want?"

Prince Qui looked at their tub. "What's that?"

"Princess Shanti sent me some items to help with my skin." Her arms were still red and it was still warm, like it had trapped the sun's heat.

Prince Qui's head tilted to the side when he saw the edge of the bath. "There are two packages."

"Yes, one of those is for you."

"But you have this one here already."

"Yes, I do," she said, clipping her tone. Why did she already know where this was going? And why did she know that she was going to agree?

Prince Qui looked at the water again. "Is that oatmeal?"

"Grounded ones."

"Great, now I can eat here too." He analyzed the water and the air around them smelled sweeter and fresher. Then he turned to her. "Can I join you?"
