Kapitel 1: Red Light Eruption

chapter : Red Light Eruption

Yun Feng woke up with a start, drenched in sweat. He had just had a vivid dream of his previous life, where he was a scientist working on a top-secret project that later cost him his life.

But that life was gone, and now he was living in a small village, raising his twin daughters and trying to stay under the radar. He got up and walked to the window, peering out at the dark sky. It was quiet and peaceful, as usual, and just like yesterday it was devoid of 'her' presence.

As Yun Feng stood there, mesmerized, his ten-year-old twin daughters stormed his bedroom after barely knocking, then without giving him a chance to react to their sudden appearance, with a flash of red and blue light, they pounced on him, tugged at his sleeves, urging him to come with them to the celebration happening in the village.

Despite the excitement in their eyes, Yun Feng couldn't help but remain distracted by the image of 'her' that kept resurfacing in his mind.

Reluctantly, Yun Feng followed his daughters out of the house and into the crowded streets of the village. As they made their way through the throngs of people, Yun Feng couldn't help but feel out of place. He was an outsider, a man with a mysterious past that he kept hidden from everyone, even his daughters.

But as they reached the center of the village, all thoughts of his past were forgotten as he was swept up in the festive atmosphere.

"Father, look at all these beautiful women!" one of his daughters, Yun Mei exclaimed, pointing at a group of ladies who were eyeing Yun Feng with interest, her red long hair fluttered with the wind as she bounced up her down excitedly secretly signaling to women to make their move.

Yun Feng smiled wryly. He was used to the attention he received from the women in the village ever since he came here a decade ago, but he was not interested in any of them. He had his hands full with taking care of his daughters and trying to make a living as a farmer.

needless to say, his display of disinterest didn't stop some people from trying.

"Father shouldn't speak with such women" his other daughter, Yun Fei calmly said with a slight frown on her face, she icily glared at the ladies who were approaching them.

Yun Feng looked at the girls and smiled proudly, Yun Mei has red, long hair that flutters with the wind. Her expression is excited as she bounces up and down, urging her father to join the celebration. She has a youthful and radiant appearance.

On the other hand, Yun Fei has cool and calm features, with azure blue hair that contrasts sharply with her sister's red hair. She looks beautiful and serene, with an expression that is cold and contemplative. Even though they have the same face, it's easy to tell them apart by their contrasting personalities and appearances.

"You're always so serious and boring. Maybe you need someone to spice up your life." seeing her Dad remain silent and only smiling weirdly Yun Mei pouted as she cast a 'what do you think you are doing trying to stop my fun' side eye at Yun Fei.

Yun Fei remained silent, looking unpertubed.

Yun Feng chuckled in amusement at the two. "I think I have enough spice with you two around, don't you think?"

Yun Mei pouted and stuck out their tongue, while Yun Fei slightly nodded as if she was satisfied by that that reply, but Yun Feng could tell they were only half-joking. They knew how lonely he had been since their mother had 'passed away'.

Women flirted with him shamelessly, drawn in by his handsome features and quiet Manliness. His daughters (mostly Yun Mei) urged him to accept one of them, hoping that it would bring some happiness back into their father's lonely life.

As Yun Feng's Yun Mei was thinking of ways to persuade him to talk to the ladies, a group of women approached him with flirtatious smiles.

"Hello there, handsome," one of them said, batting her eyelashes. "I don't think we've met before."

Yun Feng forced a polite smile. He didn't want to be rude, but he had no interest in flirting with them.

"I'm Yun Feng," he said. "And I'm sorry, but I'm not really in the mood for socializing right now."

that was the truth but when the words reached the ladies they couldn't help but sigh, The women looked disappointed, but they didn't press the matter. They knew that Yun Feng was not the type of man to be easily swayed by their charms.

As they were about to leave, one of the women turned back and said, "If you ever change your mind, you know where to find us."

Yun Feng nodded politely, but he knew that he would never take them up on their offer. He had more important things to worry about than his love life.

Yun Feng couldn't help but smile looking at the disapproving frown on his daughter's face as they watched the charming ladies leave in disappointment.

Boooooommm!!!!!!

As Yuan Feng opened his mouth to say something cheeky to his daughters before they could start lecturing him about his boring life again Suddenly, the joyful noise of the celebration was interrupted by a loud roar that seemed to shake the very foundations of the village.

A red pillar of light burst forth from within the forest, illuminating the entire sky.

The loud roar and the red pillar of light that erupted from the forest left the villagers in fear and awe. Women had jumped into Yun Feng's arms in search of safety, but Yun Feng quickly threw them off and protected his daughters instead.

Yun Mei was in complete protector mode, scolding the woman who had jumped into Yun Feng's arms, while Yun Fei remained calm and unperturbed. Yun Feng covered his daughters with his muscular arms, shielding them from harm.

Yuan Mei pouted at the women staring at them with envious gazes, as she proudly cuddled underneath her father's arms as if uninterested in the disturbing occurrence, she felt completely safe beside her dad, Yun Fei felt the same but she remained unperturbed, what they didn't realize was the arms that they were holding her was shaking underneath his baggy outfit, and a fear-stricken expression currently stain his face.

Yun Feng couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation as he gazed at the eerie glow that illuminated a bloody red light that covered the entire village he called home. It was as though the light itself was alive and pulsating with some otherworldly energy, For a while, an oppressive feeling washed over everyone keeping them routed in place.

Boom!!

As the pillar of light exploded into countless pieces that slowly dissipated, the villagers started to panic. They had never seen anything like this before, and they didn't know what to make of it.

Yun Feng looked around, trying to assess the situation. He noticed that some of the villagers were starting to run towards the forest as if drawn by some unseen force determined to find out what that red light was.

"Father, what's happening?" Yun Mei asked, her voice now trembling with fear.

"I don't know," Yun Feng replied, trying to keep his voice calm. "But we need to stay together and keep each other safe."

As they started to make their way toward the forest, they saw that a large crowd had already gathered at the edge of the forest, drawn by the strange occurrence.

Yun Feng held onto his daughters' hands tightly, not wanting to lose them in the crowd.

As they got closer to the crowd, they could hear whispers and murmurs.

"What is that?"

"Is it some kind of monster?"

"Should we run away?"

Yun Feng tried to push his way through the crowd, but it was difficult. The villagers were all trying to see what was happening, and some were pushing and shoving in their excitement.

Finally, Yun Feng and his daughters managed to break through the crowd and make their way to the front. They saw that the red pillar of light had disappeared, and in its place, there was a large crater and a cloud of red dust gradually descending on the earth.

he noticed several wild beasts covered in red dust acting erratically ., he could also feel the heat emanating from them, it looked like they were undergoing some sort of transformation as they winced in pain with their eyes glowing like two brightly lit red suns , . He felt a sense of foreboding wash over him just looking at the hundreds of wild animals covered in red specks of dust, and he knew that whatever was happening to these wild animals was not something to be trifled with.

Suddenly, there was a loud roar, and a figure emerged from the crater. It was a giant rhinoceros-looking beast about five times the normal size of rhinos, with scales and horns, a pair of piercing red eyes, and a boundless amount of killing intent. It looked around, its eyes settling on the villagers, and let out another roar.

The villagers started to panic, running in all directions. Yun Feng grabbed his daughters' hands and tried to pull them away, but they were frozen in fear.

"Father, what is that?" Yun Fei whispered, her voice barely audible over the utter confusion.

"I don't know," Yun Feng replied, his voice shaking with fear. "But we need to get out of here.", they were only at the edge of the forest currently far from the crater where the pillar of red light was yet such a terrifying creature had already appeared, Yun Feng couldn't even begin to imagine what they would find if they venture deeper.

of course now was not the time to be lost in thought he needed to bring his kids to safety immediately.

As they started to back away, the giant beast let out another roar and charged toward them. Yun Feng pushed his daughters to the side, shielding them with his body, as the beast barreled toward them.

Just when it seemed like all was lost, there was a blinding flash of light, and the beast was gone. Yun Feng and his daughters looked around, confused and disoriented, trying to make sense of what had just happened.

And then, they saw her. A woman, dressed in white, with long flowing hair and a serene expression. She looked at them with a cold and aloof look as if she was looking at nothing but mere ants.

"Do you lot have a death wish?" she said, her voice stern and angry as if she was speaking to beggers on the roadside who besmirched her cloths

Yun Feng and his daughters could only nod, still in shock from what had just happened, everything had happened so fast.

"Return to where you belong," the woman said with a commanding tone, her every word sounded like a command in the ears of mortals, before her final words echoed in Yun Feng and the surrounding villager's ears, her graceful figure had already disappeared leaving behind nothing but a scent that seems to belong to only angels.

"Dad, who was that?" Yun Fei asked, and for the first time her eyes glinted with interest.

"someone far out of our reach" Yun Feng let out a sigh after a few seconds had passed, what he had just experienced had brought him a sense of deja vu and brought to the surface of his mind the regrets he had worked so hard to suppress.

"let's go!!" Yun Feng said as he grabbed his daughters with both arms and then walked as fast he could back to the village, leaving behind the remaining Frenzied beasts to the powerful woman they encountered before to handle.
