"M-Master, wait up."

Walking with haste, Grantt strode with large steps that echoed through the corridors. His destination was the balcony where he thought his mind would clear, even though this was a habit the imposter would do.

"Like, I'm gonna listen to YOU. You're not the master I swore my life to."

"Then why are you here?"

He stopped, facing the insolent servant he had. It was true that the real Grantt was not the one who took him in, but it was their fused sentiments that had let him stay by his side any longer.

"I'm not your master, Marcus. You don't have to follow me."

Grantt leaned back into the balustrade of the balcony, looking at the starry night sky.
