Marcus stood there with his hand ready to unsheathe his blade.

He stood a distance away from Belial who was standing right just at the center of the room, licking away the remaining magic he had just eaten.

Baring his fangs, Belial took a step forward, making Marcus and Kawari step in as well to stop him.

Kawari quickly cast magic that was already written on a note, and as he stepped beside Marcus, he assumed a form that was almost the same age as Marcus, holding a dagger that he pulled out from his ankle.
