"Urgh..." grunting in pain, he clenched his fist and within few seconds the pain slowly dissipated.

He raised an eyebrow in surprise 'Hmm, interesting. There are many things that I didn't write about. Maybe its that God's work, after all I didn't even clearly explained about the system.'
With a sigh, he closed his eyes 'And I also only wrote some chapters. Who knows what will happen.'
'But its okay... i will live this life to the fullest.'
Rolling down, he comfortably lay on the bed 'I need to rest first...'
...
*splash*
The cold water cascaded down Xuan Yan's face as he splashed himself awake in the bathroom.
He looked up, his golden eyes meeting his reflection in the polished mirror.
"Damn, I didn't expect to sleep this long," he muttered under his breath, grabbing a towel to dry his face. "Is it already evening?"
He sighed, running a hand through his hair to push it out of his eyes.
Folding the towel neatly, he placed it back on the rack and made his way out of the bathroom.
The soft thuds of his footsteps echoed in the quiet hallway as he descended the stairs toward the ground floor.
His thoughts wandered as he approached the main hall, curiosity piqued. 'I wonder if Hu Liena is back yet...'
As he turned a corner, he saw a middle-aged woman dressed in a maid's uniform carrying a tray of flowers.
Her steps faltered when she noticed him, her eyes widening slightly before a warm smile broke across her face.
"Ah!" she exclaimed softly, setting the tray aside on a nearby table and hurried toward him, her gaze kind and welcoming. "So you're Her Majesty's new disciple?"
Xuan Yan tilted his head slightly, looking at her before nodding. "Mhm… yes, Aunty."
The woman crouched down to his height with a delighted expression, cupping his face gently in her palms.
Her eyes sparkled with maternal affection. "You're so cute..." she cooed, pinching his cheeks lightly.
Caught off guard, Xuan Yan felt his face being squished by her soft hands. "A-Aunty…" he managed to say, his voice slightly muffled.
She giggled at his reaction and released him, patting his head affectionately. "What's your name, little one?"
Rubbing his cheeks, which were now faintly red, he muttered, "Xuan Yan."
"Oh, Young Lord Yan it is," she said with a playful tone, straightening up and brushing off her uniform.
Her demeanor shifted slightly, becoming more formal as she bowed her head. "I apologize for my impudence just now, Young Lord. You were just so cute I couldn't resist."
Xuan Yan waved his hand dismissively, his expression softening. "It's no problem, Aunty. You don't have to be so formal with me… you can just call me by name."
The woman shook her head firmly, "How could I? You're the disciple of Her Majesty, the Pope herself! It would be improper."
He sighed, realizing he wouldn't win this argument. "Fine… if you insist. But at least don't act so stiff around me. It feels weird."
The woman chuckled lightly. "As you wish, Young Lord."
Her eyes softened as she tilted her head. "Do you want something to eat or drink? You must be hungry after your nap."
Xuan Yan blinked, considering her offer. "Hmm… can you prepare coffee for me, Aunty?"
Her smile brightened as she nodded eagerly. "Of course, Young Lord! Please wait here for just five minutes."
Xuan Yan wandered into the sitting area, as he looked at the decor.
The room was spacious but not flashy, with furniture and a calming atmosphere.
He approached a shelf lined with books and ornamental pieces, idly running a finger along the spine of one of the tomes.
The faint aroma of brewing coffee wafted through the air, pulling him out of his thoughts.
A few moments later, the maid returned, carrying a tray with a steaming cup of coffee, a small plate of biscuits, and a glass of water.
She placed the tray on the low table in front of him with practiced grace.
"Here you are, Young Lord," she said, stepping back and bowing slightly.
Xuan Yan smiled at her. "Thank you, Aunty." He picked up the cup and took a sip, the rich bitterness of the coffee grounding him.
The maid watched him for a moment before speaking again. "If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to call me. I'll be nearby."
He nodded, setting the cup down. "I will. Thank you again."
As the maid left the room, Xuan Yan leaned back in his chair, savoring the quiet moment.
"Aunty! I need tea... ugh, this Academy life."
At this time, a melodic voice echoed through the hall and Xuan Yan turned his head towards the entrance.
