Ten years ago, in the white void that is the divine realm of the gods a freshly killed man stands before one of the creator gods.

"Where am I?" The man asked, not realizing he had perished from his world. "Am I dead? No, I can't be dead! There was so much I still needed to do!"

"Calm yourself." The god of destruction said. "I have a task for you. A new purpose and a new chance to live."

"Really?" The man wiped away his tears. "Who are you anyway? Are you the reaper?"

"I am one of the chief gods of the multiverse." He replied. "I always find it disheartening when mortals lack any concept of faith and fail to realize they are in the presence of a god. But rejoice, if you had been plucked from oblivion by her, she would not have been so kind.
