Kapitel 13: Sandra Wu-San (2)

I reach a decent distance outside the city, check around just to make sure and then fly straight up.

This Bio-Electric aura not only keeps the air resistance to the minimum, but also helps keep my hair perfect.

I can fly faster than I can run. It uses my body's physical strength to run, but for flying only telekinesis comes into play, in a way gravity helps me in flying faster. Solar energy fuels both of them still though.

Detroit is quite far away, it's like more than 1000 miles from kansas. Which I can cover in an hour by flight, so my speed must be around Mach 1.

And as I increase my proficiency at using tactile telekinesis, this speed will continue rising.

During this hour I mostly use my super hearing and x ray, so that I can make it a habit of processing information at such fast speeds.

And while doing so I start reviewing what I know about Sandra from the comics.

She stayed with her sister during her childhood days. Their parents died in a car crash, leaving them the restaurant and house.

They spent most of their time studying martial arts and sparring with each other. They used to perform regularly and people came to watch them from far away.

One of the regular audience was David Cane. He was the top assassin, killer and fighter from the league of assassins. He would go on to teach many people including Batman.

He was very meticulous and had prepared contingencies for everything. And so he wanted a partner as well as a successor of his, but couldn't find any and felt that only his blood could succeed him.

And thus started his search for a female warrior who would birth him a worthy child. Which brought him to Sandra, he could see that she was better than her sister and Carolyn was just hindering her growth.

He murdered Carolyn when Sandra wasn't around. Sandra came back, furious at what she saw and went out to search for the suspicious man lurking around their shows.

There was a trap waiting for her as David had the league ready already. During the fight David kept manipulating and convincing her that he did the right thing and now she could unleash her true potential.

At the verge of death, he convinced her and gave her a chance to live, in return she has to come with him and be the mother of his child.

She agreed and he took her to the league of shadows to be trained. She and her sister had a unique inborn skill where they could predict the opponents attacks by the slightest twitch of the muscle making them deadly at hand to hand combat.

She trained herself there, while enduring the abuse of David. Once when during her pregnancy David was beating her, she snapped and attacked back defeating him easily despite the bloated stomach.

She birthed a girl and left that place and the child in search of her own path. After this point she changed numerous roles from mercenary to villain to assassin to vigilante and the name of Lady Shiva became famous throughout the world.

Her child named Cassandra Cain was trained by David, who never taught her any words and banned her speech so she could concentrate on improving her innate skill which she got from her mother.

After her first kill Cassandra realises that this is wrong and escapes from David. She goes on to become Batgirl and one of the strongest and deadliest fighters.

Eventually Lady Shiva tracks down Cassandra and starts teaching her everything she knows and starts having deadly battles with her.

At the last decided fight Lady Shiva tells her that she is her mother. Cassandra in rage over her mother leaving her, decapitates her head and kills her.

Eventually Lady Shiva is revived and she gets even more deadly over time.

But this all things will never happen as Sandra and Carolyn will be under my protection from now on. I still have more than 2 years to prepare, as there is the league of assassins behind David.

While I was passing by Metropolis, I heard some interesting news, apparently the famous magician John Zatara is going to have a show in the city next week.

Now I won't have to go to San Francisco at least.

I reached home, helped dad finish his work and returned back with him. I had already told them that I want to learn martial arts as it would help me control my growing power.

When I told them that 2 very talented asian girls were going to be my teacher, mom asked to bring them home for dinner someday. That would be difficult considering how far Detroit is, but I still promised her.

As we were watching TV an ad comes of a cat wearing a woolen hat. As I saw the cat, I remembered that during my last visit to her house, she asked me if I wanted to meet a friend of hers.
