Kapitel 40: A Real White Lotus

The following day...

Chae Yeong was awakened by the sound of her ringing phone. She groaned and extended her hand to retrieve the phone from her bedside drawer, then answered the call.

"📞Hello, sis, are you awake?" Chae Yeong heard her brother's voice inquire from the other end of the line.

"📞Mmm, your call woke me up. What can I do for you?" Chae Yeong asked as she stood up from the bed.

"📞I just wanted to check if you'll be attending school today," Joo Won asked, still on the phone.

"📞Yes, I will be attending. It's already 6:30 am, so I need to go shower and get dressed. Bye, see you at school," Chae Yeong stated before promptly ending the call and hurriedly making her way to the bathroom.

She quickly took a bath and exited the bathroom, proceeding to her room where she promptly changed into her school uniform.
