Kapitel 19: Chapter 19: Leaving School
After arriving at school, I told Melody I was going to the principal's office because I wanted to test out of highschool early.
Hearing this of course she pouted, but then decided that since I wouldn't be here she would do some kind of online learning to finish highschool since it's easier with her constantly being away for modeling gigs.
I just shrugged my shoulders and kept going.
Walking together toward the office, we both heard lots of whispers as people were staring very obviously at us.
Of course we just ignored it as Melody was talking to me about how she is going to be going to New York City soon for a shoot and that I should come with if I didn't have any thing I needed to do.
If I didn't mention it before, we live in California.
I am seriously contemplating this, I will have time after all until I can enroll in any courses at any college as spring has already begun so I would have to wait until summer or fall.
It could be a nice get away too.
I smile and say, "Okay, I will go."
She excitedly squeals and jumps up and down, clapping her hands!
I just roll my eyes at her dramatics.
A few minutes later we approach the office, I tell the secretary my intentions and she informs the principal immediately and tells us to wait a couple minutes.
After waiting a while, the principal comes out and addresses us, "Which one of you would like to test out early?"
"Me." I say.
"That is possible, but you will have to attend the national state exam on Friday morning and pass in the top ten in order to get your diploma early and be able to apply to college." He says seriously, handing her the exam information sheet.
"Thank you Sir." I say.
"As for you," he says looking at Melody, "these are some forms and information on different online curriculums we offer for students who are in situations like yours, just look over them with your family and turn it in when you have decided." he says thoroughly.
Melody takes the papers and smiles, "Thank you, I admire you attention to detail." she says.
He just shakes his head as he thinks, 'If I did anything to misinform one of these two, their families would have my job, maybe even my head.'
"No problem, glad I could help you. Until you get your matters settled, I will grant you both a leave of absence from classes." he says smoothly and then sees them out.
Since we got out of classes we decided that we might as well go do something.
As we were thinking of what to do, Melody suddenly claps, "Let's go to an amusement park!" She says excitedly and takes her phone out dialing someone's number.
"Who are you calling?" I ask curiously.
"Oh, just a willing chauffeur to take us to have fun." She says with a look like she is up to something.
Oh great.
A few minutes later, a big SUV you pulls up.
Opening the door and getting out to let us in the back seat with him is none other than Braxton Cooper, the one that Melody had just been going on and on about this morning.
I sigh and glare at her for daring to make me a third wheel.
She ignores me and pulls me and Braxton just smirks.
When we get in, Braxton texts someone on his phone and then tells the driver to head to the nearest mall.
We look at him quizzically since we planned for an amusement park and he just shakes his head and sighs, "You girls can't go frolicking around an amusement park in outfits like that, right?"
He just smiles as we both look like a light bulb has gone off in our minds.
Melody just says, "Right! I knew there was a reason I called you."
"You mean besides the fact they I am super handsome and have confessed my undying love to you." he replies pretending to be hurt.
Hearing that, she blushes and turns to face me but then I raise an eyebrow at her with a look that says, 'You suck, thanks for making me watch your lovey dovey acts.'
She gives me a helpless look that says, 'It's this shameless man's fault for not caring about where we are or who is here!'
I couldn't help, but shoot a look that says, 'So, it would be okay with you if you guys were alone." then smile as she puffs her cheek out and folds her arms in annoyance.
Seeing her like that Braxton chuckles and holds her hand which makes her blush more.
When I see that, I subconsciously remember how Colton always holds my hand when we are together, but I quickly shake out of it as we pull up to a mall and exit the vehicle for a hopefully quick outfit swap.
Meanwhile, a certain iceberg was in the middle if holding a daily meeting to hear the reports from all his departments and making his employees scared stiff, when his phone went off with a text that contained a picture of two beauties wearing matching outfits in his friends.
Seeing his little goddess, the corner of his lips lift just a bit which makes all of his employees mouths hang open in shock, though he doesn't notice since he is busying replying to Braxton asking what is going on.
A few seconds later he says that Melody asked him to take them to an amusement park, but they are stopping at X mall to get appropriate clothes.
Reading this he smiles at this opportunity his friend conjured up for him to spend more time with a certain little beauty.
He immediately halts the meeting and says it is done for today as he leaves and rushes to his driver who he had texted in advance on the way out to meet him out front.
While he rushes to meet them, the girls are looking through some random boutique.
It is warm so Melody picked out some cute white shorts that show off her long slightly tanned legs and a pink tank top that is cropped with lace ruffles and then just some basic white converse.
Similarly, Serenity went with some Blue Jean shorts that have some tips on the front and a simple white crop top that has a front knot and a quote and gives a little peek a boo showing off her dangling belly button ring. She picked out some black converse to finish it.
Both girls nodded their approval at each other and then walked out of the dressing room holding their outfits they wore to school and handed the cashier the tags for the clothes and shoes since they decided to wear them out.
Melody made Braxton pay since it was his idea and he just touched his nose and shrugged his shoulder before handing the his card to the lady at the register.
It didn't matter to him much as this little bit wouldn't even put a dent his bank account.
Rich bastard.
They were given bags for their clothes.
Melody walked out holding Braxton's hands leaving me, the third wheel in the back.
As we were walking back to the car, someone grabbed my free hand and pulled me toward them making me start to panic, but as I turned around ready to drop my bag and smack the pervert, it was just this sinfully handsome devil.
"Are you stalking me? Colton, you scared me half to death!" I say annoyed as my heart calms down.
"No, I was invited and you looked lonely." he said, but was really thinking about how she walked out of the store looking like a bombshell and was gathering attention from men so he came running to her to claim her and glared at the men looking at her making them shiver and turn away.
Hearing his excuse, she just shoves the bag shes holding to him and he smiles and takes it from her happily and leads her to follow the other two to the car.
As they all got into Braxton's car, Melody's mouth dropped open since she was too distracted and didn't even notice when he got here.
Sitting in the car, Colton had put the bag down and was sitting a little too close to Serenity making her want to hit him, but she couldn't say it was uncomfortable to have him close to her.
As the car pulled away, Melody just smirked and Serenity's situation and ignored Braxton who looked like he wanted her attention.
It was still early in the day so they decided to go to six flags which was about 2 and a half hour drive.
