Scratch… scratch… scratch…

I held the pencil in my hand adding more details into my drawing of Avery. 

A hero like her- selfless, born to lead, charismatic, a little bit chaotic and kind. The art I picture her to be is something simple yet grand. Despite her new found status she seemed to have remained humble and never forgot her mission to get home.

Back to earth of the year 2020.

"Ugh… Are we there yet?" (Avery) asks, looking towards us in boredom. 

"No we're not there yet."

We've been sitting in the same spot for two hours and we could tell that the time has been nearing sundown. I was also getting impatient, I had to be calm but the voices in my head just wished that the boats here sailed faster.

"Be a little more patient, Avery. Hold on now, don't move too much because your drawing would get ruined." I told her and I could hear her groan.
