Kapitel 8: Ultimate Wingman

"Lighten up Izuna," said Madara as he let out a sigh. "You are getting married today."
"…"
"Stop sulking. Your wife is a beautiful woman."
"…"
Madara glanced at his younger brother who was wearing a gloomy face. Perhaps it was because Madara beat the living shit out of him but Izuna no longer made any attempt to run away.
And just in case Izuna tried to pull something weird, Madara made sure that Izuna's Chakra reserves were severely depleted before coming here. He was 100% sure that he could immediately subdue Izuna if things went wrong.
Soon, footsteps were heard as Hashirama and Tobirama appeared together.
"Madara! It seems you also convinced your brother to this marriage."
"It seems you also had some difficulties," said Madara as he saw that Tobirama was also sulking while looking a bit roughed up.
"Hahaha! Tobirama did his best to run away when he heard that he was going to be married." Said Hashirama with a laugh. "But he couldn't escape from me! Even with his Flying Thunder God technique! Hahaha!"
Tobirama could help but feel cheated.
Even if he could teleport away, his monstrous brother had the chakra to catch up.
After being on the run for a week, Tobirama eventually ran out of chakra without having time to rest before Hashirama came like the inhumane being he was.
For the first time in his life, Tobirama despised his brother for his incredible abilities.
Madara chuckled. "Izuna tried to run away too but no one in the Uchiha clan can escape from my grasp."
As Hashirama and Madara laughed with each other, Tobirama and Izuna exchanged glances.
For the first time, they sympathized with each other and felt that the other wasn't too bad. This feeling however quickly disappeared when they met their wives.
Two beautiful ninjas entered the room.
"Greetings Clan Leader, I am Uchiha Sora," said an elegant girl with black hair and black eyes while staring at Madara.
"Salute to Lord Hokage, I am Senju Keiko," said another elegant girl with dark brown hair after glancing at Hashirama.
Izuna looked at the Uchiha girl and couldn't help but feel a bit better.
At least his wife was elegant and beautiful.
Tobirama looked at the Senju girl and felt the same way.
However, the two of them couldn't help but protest when they heard the next few words.
"Clan leader, am I to marry sir Izuna?" Asked the uchiha girl while the Senju girl asked "Am I to marry sir Tobirama?"
Madara and Hashirama shook their heads.
"Izuna will marry Keiko while Tobirama will marry Sora."
Immediately, Izuna and Tobirama jumped up to protest.
"I would never marry Uchiha scum!"
"I agree with Tobirama! How could I ever live with a Senju bastard!"
Madara clicked his tongue. To say such words in front of their future wives… It seems that his and Hashirama's younger brother, while skilled in the ninja arts, had no skill in the art of charming women.
As expected, the two beautiful ladies wore stiff faces as they glanced at their soon-to-be husbands with a wary look.
Perhaps they were afraid they would be abused? Their worries were unfounded though as while Izuna and Tobirama were rough and violent men, they were kind and caring to their families.
Madara gave Hashirama a pat on the back.
"The wife you chose for my brother is beautiful! I've heard many stories about Senju Keiko, a strong kunoichi who stole the hearts of many Senju! I've heard of your feats in the siege of Matsumoto Castle. You will make a wonderful wife for my stubborn brother," said Madara with a smile.
"Thank you Uchiha Leader Madara," said Keiko with a bashful bow. "My feats are nothing compared to you."
"You say the wife I brought for your brother is good? Who doesn't know of the illusionary butterfly Sora Uchiha? I've heard of her legendary feat of fighting against three Hyuga ninjas to a stalemate! You will be able to handle my pigheaded younger brother for sure! Hahaha!"
"Not at all, Lord Hokage. I am nothing compared to someone called the God of Shinobi," said Sora while blushing.
Madara gave Hashirama a playful shove. "It seems I owe you one as the wife you got for my brother is better than the one I got for yours."
"Nonsense," said Hashirama with a wave of his hand. "My brother is the lucky one, not yours. I'm the one who owes you a great debt."
"I think Izuna's wife is the better one."
"Stop joking around. Tobirama's the one with the better hand."
Madara put a finger to his chin as if in deep thought. "Hmmm… Perhaps you are right. Maybe Tobirama has the better wife?"
As Izuna heard Madara admit that Tobirama had the better wife, he couldn't help but feel a surge of anger.
And when he saw that Senju Keiko was also feeling a bit hurt by his brother's careless words, he couldn't stay quiet anymore.
"Brother! How could you say something like that," said Izuna in an angry tone. "Senju Keiko is an outstanding kunoichi with many feats. Her beauty is famed even among the uchiha! You cannot simply value her worth any less than Tobirama's wife! If anything, she would be worth more as she came this far without the superior Uchiha bloodline."
Hearing this, Tobirama couldn't stand still as Izuna belittled his soon-to-be wife.
"Sora Uchiha is also a spectacular Kunoichi. Not every Uchiha member can master genjutsu to the level she has. Her talent is undeniable! Besides, her gentle disposition is known to all as she is famed for showing mercy even in the middle of the war. Many Senju survived due to her grace!"
"You are a dull man who can't appreciate the truth," scoffed Izuna.
"You are an idiotic man who can't see reality even with those cursed eyes you pride in," retorted Tobirama.
Just as the two of them were about to bicker with each other once more, the both of them felt a tug on their sleeves.
When they turned around, they saw their soon-to-be wives with red faces telling them to stop.
Flabbergasted, Izuna and Tobirama stared at their future wives in silence as Madara and Hashirama exchanged smirks before bumping fists together.
