Panicked but determined not to be caught, Arthas quickly grabbed the book and tucked it close to his chest before retreating into a small alcove hidden behind a velvet curtain.

It was none other than his father, King Terenas II, looking regal in his royal attire with a furrowed brow that suggested deep contemplation.
Arthas held his breath, hoping he wouldn't be discovered.
The king walked past the alcove, his gaze scanning the room before finally settling on the shelf where the missing book had been.
Arthas's heart pounded in his chest as he watched his father inspect the empty space where the ornate volume once sat.
A mix of fear and anxiety coursed through Arthas as he witnessed the king's puzzled expression.
King Terenas II furrowed his brow further, clearly perplexed by the disappearance of the book.
Just as Arthas thought he would be found out, a messenger entered the library, bowing deeply before addressing the king.
Arthas strained his ears to catch their conversation, hoping to glean any information that might be useful for his quest.
"Your highness, there are rumors of a bandit coalition forming to attack the city of Andorhal. This could have disastrous consequences for our food production, as Andorhal is one of our main sources for agricultural development."
Despite the seriousness of the situation, King Terenas maintained a calm and collected expression, seemingly unfazed.
Arthas couldn't help but admire his father's composure and leadership skills, realizing why he was the current king of Lordaeron.
After dismissing the messenger with a nod and instructions to handle the issue, King Terenas let out a heavy sigh and walked to a nearby window, looking out at their kingdom beyond the castle walls.
Arthas saw a rare moment of vulnerability in his father's slumped shoulders, reminding him of the immense weight that came with being a king.
It was not an easy job, constantly worrying about the well-being and progress of their people.
Arthas knew that his father had faced numerous challenges in his life that he could never fully understand.
And despite it all, he couldn't deny the love and admiration he held for King Terenas II, both as his son and a fan of his renowned legacy.
[Quest Completed!]
[The System's shop feature has now been unlocked!]
The weight of the world seemed to lift off Arthas's tiny shoulders as he realized he had successfully completed the quest set forth by the [System].
The unlocked [Shop] feature was a welcome surprise, offering him new possibilities and opportunities in this unfamiliar world.
He made a mental note to investigate the [Shop] feature at a more convenient time, when he was alone.
But for now, he wanted to take advantage of the present moment and introduce himself to his father, to try and build a stronger relationship with him.
As the king turned to leave the library, Arthas seized the opportunity to make his move.
Emerging from his hiding spot, he made his way towards King Terenas to reveal himself.
The king was taken aback by his son's unexpected presence but smiled warmly at the sight of Arthas toddling towards him.
"Well, what have we here?" King Terenas said with a chuckle, lifting Arthas into his arms and holding him close.
Arthas gazed up at his father with wide, curious eyes, feeling a strange mixture of anxiety and anticipation bubbling within him.
He confidently extended his hand, passing the intricately designed book he retrieved from the shelf to King Terenas.
The king's eyebrows shot up in surprise as he accepted the book, his gaze shifting from the volume to Arthas and back again.
"What's this, little prince?" King Terenas asked, his voice filled with a mix of amusement and intrigue.
Arthas responded with excited gibberish, his determined gaze implying a message beyond his young age.
He handed over the book without any specific reason in mind, except for the fact that the title read: "Ways to enhance your performance in bed."
As the king skimmed through the pages, his expression changed from surprise to recognition.
"This... this is one of my most cherished tomes," King Terenas murmured, his eyes softening as he looked down at Arthas cradled in his arms. "Where did you find this?"
Arthas babbled incomprehensibly, while pointing towards the shelf he had taken the book from, his eyes alight with a strange knowing.
King Terenas studied his son for a moment, a mix of wonder and puzzlement crossing his features.
Setting Arthas down gently, the king walked over to the shelf and carefully placed the book back in its original spot.
Turning back to Arthas, he crouched down to the baby's level and spoke softly, "You are a clever one, little prince. It seems there is more to you than meets the eye."
Arthas gurgled happily in response, his tiny hand reaching out towards his father.
King Terenas ruffled Arthas's hair affectionately before rising to his feet.
Contemplating for a moment, he gazed at his son and suggested, "Maybe it's time for some quality father-son bonding."
Arthas' face lit up with joy as he had achieved his objective, albeit with an unconventional method.
…
Arthas couldn't contain his excitement at the prospect of spending quality time with his father, King Terenas II.
The king led Arthas out of the library in his arms and into the sprawling gardens of the castle grounds.
The sun was beginning to set, casting a warm golden glow over the landscape.
As they walked, Arthas marveled at the beauty of the flowers in bloom and the gentle rustling of leaves in the evening breeze.
King Terenas kept a watchful eye on his son, a mixture of pride and curiosity evident in his gaze.
Arthas, on the other hand, felt a sense of contentment he had never experienced before.
Being in his father's company, surrounded by nature's tranquility, he knew this was a moment he would treasure forever.
As they strolled through the gardens, King Terenas began to share stories of his own childhood, tales of adventure and valor that sparked a newfound sense of admiration in Arthas.
Even though Arthas probably didn't understand his words, King Terenas continued to speak in an effort to keep his son amused.
Arthas listened intently, captivated by his father's tales of bravery and heroism.
He watched the way King Terenas's eyes would light up with each recounting, his voice full of passion and nostalgia.
In that moment, Arthas saw his father not just as a king, but as a person with his own struggles and triumphs.
As they reached a clear, tranquil pond in the center of the garden, King Terenas set Arthas down on the grassy bank.
The water shimmered under the setting sun, casting a mesmerizing reflection of the two figures before it.
Arthas felt a surge of emotion welling up inside him, a deep sense of connection to his father and the world around him.
He reached out to touch the water, watching as ripples spread out and distorted their reflections.
King Terenas sat beside him, a contemplative expression on his face as he observed Arthas interact with the natural beauty around them.
