Armia's stomach did a somersault as she stepped into the grand manor. The chatter died down, all eyes swiveling to take in the new arrivals.

[Fuck,] she thought, fighting the urge to bolt. [Why is everyone staring?]

She glanced at Isabella, hoping for... well, she wasn't sure what. Moral support? A distraction?

Fat chance of that.

The kitsune was basking in the attention. Her emerald eyes sparkled as she surveyed the crowd, no doubt mentally cataloging potential conquests.

[Of course,] Armia thought bitterly. [I'd be shocked if she's not getting hard from all the stares.]

Isabella caught her looking and smirked.

"See something you like, scales?"

Armia scowled.

"In your dreams, fox."

"Oh yeah?" Isabella purred, eyes narrowed with a challenge. "In my dreams, you'd be doing a lot more than looking."
