Kapitel 4: Training II

As I'm flying through the air I lose track of time and the sun is setting and yet the pain that would normally arrive has yet to return. Level three of shapeshifting is no joke in how long it appears to last, so before I can no longer maintain the form I should head back. On that note, I turned around and started heading back toward the cave I called home, or more like a temporary home.

Upon arriving at my mountain cave home I entered and realized I should decorate it, though still shaped as a giant bird I should probably wait until I can no longer maintain this form. I just started walking around my cave home as a giant bird, and I didn't really mention this before but this cave is huge.

I haven't explored all the way back into it yet but it's pretty tall and wide enough to fit me in my current form. Anywho I just waited until I had to turn back and then I would start decorating. By decorating I mean adding a door, some furniture big enough for my size. I still sleep though it'll just take a while before I become tired, and I don't know how I know this I just do.

When I first arrived I was hungry, but I don't know why I was as I haven't been hungry since, and if I had to eat even every once in a while I would know. The fact that I ate an entire t-rex is even more strange, but moving on from that I just keep waiting here bored.

After some time passes the pain returns and I transform myself back.

Well, that's good but I want to decorate my home, but before that, I walk over to the wall of the cave. Shaping the ends of a tentacle into spikes I carve two lines into the wall, to mark how many days I have been here. The reason I am doing this is that I plan to stay awake for five to ten years before sleeping to pass time.

I will stay asleep until humans come around, as there is nothing else to do in the Jurrasic period. The reason I am even able to do this is because the system has a way to keep me asleep for whatever amount of time I want.

I'm going to wake up every five hundred thousand years or so to see if there are humans yet. I'll probably need to be able to transform into a human though as I doubt a mass of tentacles with so many eyes and two mouths would be accepted.

Though I'm going to start waking up every five hundred thousand years after the asteroid hits Earth and kills all the dinosaurs because I wanna see that happen so for now I'll set the system to wake me up before then.

Now then getting on with the decoration of my little abode. Exiting my home I go down into the forest below and shape multiple tentacles into ax-like things and chop down some trees. I drag the longs back up the mountain and into my cave.

I cut the leaves and branches off of the logs and throw them out of my cave. I then turn my attention to making a chair and table, I don't really need to do this but I'm bored. Also, it'll be pretty funny for when humans millions of years from now find it. I'm quite happy with how the table and chair turned out, but I probably never do anything with it.

The reason is that I can't fit on it, since I made this human-sized. I could make something bigger but I don't want to, as I just did this to pass the time. With that in mind if I'm going to be this bored then perhaps I'll actually stay awake for only a few months at least but at most one to two years.

Now that I made the useless furniture, I'll start training my shapeshifting again and for that, I slide out of the cave. Outside of the cave I head down the mountain and start transforming into a t-rex before when I transformed into a t-rex I was small but this time I was only a bit smaller than a normal-sized one.

To make matters better I could now feel if the appearance I took revealed any of my true form. Now I just have to wait, and about the organ thing where before I tried to shift organs as well. I found that to be not needed so I just kept my true forms organs. So in other words I am a t-rex that doesn't need food or water or sleep that often.

I'm also still genderless, I can't change my gender yet and I don't really think I will even if I could. I begin my day as a t-rex by walking around, and really just waiting. I would like to draw on the ground but my arms are too short but if I wanted I could use tentacles in this form but I don't know if that would cancel out the form maintaining.

I'll test that later but for now I don't want to as I'm just trying to level up my shapeshifting. Once night approached I was still able to maintain the form, so I headed back to my cave as a t-rex. I'm still surprised at the height of this cave as I can still fit in here as a t-rex.

Once the sun goes down I can feel the pain once more and I transform back.

I now know how long I can stay transformed, which is two days. Three days at most but I would be in pain the entire day but at least I now know that. This time I try transforming into something smaller as I can now also decrease my size but not to the size of a bug yet, unfortunately.

The thing I am trying to transform into is a fox, a simple red fox. The reason is for something new and since decreasing my size is a new ability I am not yet used to it. Basically, instead of two days staying transformed I can now only last for about four hours, I could do more but the pain would increase.

Since the shapeshifting skill is now level 5, I want to try something and that is sleeping to see if I can maintain a form while sleeping. It takes a while but eventually I fall asleep, like I said before I don't need sleep often but I can still sleep if I want.

I awake to the pain that happens when I maintain a form for too long and I instantly turn back to myself.

Well isn't that great I can sleep to wait through the leveling process. With that in mind that is exactly what I plan to do, so then let's get started.
