Kapitel 448: I Can Feel Your Pain

Doing it with Ferdinand vigorously helped keep her mind off the memories and helped assure her that in this life, she was loved and desired by him.

"What kind of memory did you see the other night?" Ferdinand inquired. He figured she did not want to sleep because of those.

"Nothing much. Just the usual," Arabella half-lied. It was indeed like the previous memories she had told him. But it wasn't 'nothing much.'

[She's lying again.]

"Arabella, if it's making you not want to fall asleep, it must have been terrible. Please tell me about it," Ferdinand rose and put on a bathrobe too.

"You agreed to wait until I stop having those nightmares," she reminded him.

[Nightmares? It must have indeed been all about sad memories again.]

'I shouldn't have referred to them as nightmares.'

But what else would those be? She rather preferred if those were just nightmares and had no truth in them.
