Kapitel 54: Chapter 54: Acceptance

The car arrived at the Li's old home.

Li Chuxi was scared, as evidenced by the way she clutched Xin Yan's hands.

"It is fine, everything will be fine; your father and I are here with you, so do not worry," Xin Yan reassured her, and she nodded.

Aunt Fei greeted the three as they entered the house, and she appeared surprised to see them with a little girl.

"Where is Grandfather?" Li Qiang inquired.

"He is in the painting room," Aunt Fei said absentmindedly. The presence of a child astounded her greatly.

"Okay, thank you," he said to Aunt Fei as they walked toward the painting room.

Knock! Li Qiang knocked on the door, and a low 'come in' was heard.

The couple exchanged a few glances before Li Qiang opened the door.

They were greeted with the odor of paint. Xin Yan exhaled. She had no idea that the grandfather was skilled in this particular area.
