When I finally arrived back at my castle, my companions were waiting for me, their faces lighting up with relief and joy. I dismounted and greeted them, feeling the weight of my responsibilities settle back on my shoulders. But it was a weight I was ready to bear, strengthened by the love and support of those around me.

The next morning came swiftly, the golden light of dawn filtering through the curtains of my chamber. I dressed quickly, eager to see my companions and learn what had transpired during my absence. As I made my way to the grand hall, I found them already gathered, their expressions a mix of anticipation and readiness.

"Good morning," I greeted them warmly as I entered the hall. "I hope all has been well while I was away."

Baelgor stepped forward, his stance as steady and reassuring as ever. "Welcome back, Emily. We managed to keep everything under control. There were a few minor issues, but nothing we couldn't handle."
