Kapitel 27: Photo

After she was done with the day's work, Amelia left the office early to wait for the arrival of Lucas and Jane inside the restaurant.

Meanwhile, she called Evelyn and checked up with her, learning that her daughter was watching the television. It brought her to relief to see how Evelyn handled herself well.

Just as she was about to take a sip from the glass of water, the private room's door opened, and the man held on to the woman, dragging her in against the protest.

"Let go of me, Lucas, or say goodbye to your salary for six months," threatened the beautiful Jane.

"Come on, Jane. Stop being so stubborn. You are here already," Lucas voiced out.

Then entered both of them. Amelia stood up and smiled at her former best friend. At this, Jane only scowled before turning her gaze away.

"You should know that I am busy. So, why must I waste my time just because some insignificant person wants to see me?" Jane expressed.
