It felt like irony.

I gave up my happiness with Leon so that both of us could have a safe and peaceful life.

I never hope to return to his side because I thought it was for the best, and thus, I've not thought about searching for Zyuna's stone. 

My only wish was to survive and live long with my present family. 

But, even so, God wouldn't let me have that wish. 

It all made sense now, for I finally understood why the stone was the 1% because, without it, I would die before I reached my 18th birthday. 

That means all this time, the reason why heaven predicted that I could not be with Leon and why the possibility of us not being together was 99% was all because they had foreseen my death. 

The moment I stopped pursuing the 1%, I was bound to lose everything, including my life itself. 

Even if I pulled myself away from the original story, I was not allowed to have an alternate ending.
