Kapitel 1: SYNOPSIS
Vince Flloyd has a sad and sorrowful life as a human. Abused, neglected and forgotten, he forgot what love means anymore. Heck, he even died rescuing a woman from someone who wanted to harass her. His life was a total disaster.
He died young. Too young to have had been happy.
When he was reborn, he was a reaper, eventually called Red, because his left eye has the distinctive color. Due to his past life and bravery, The Divine Empress, a highly spirit of the Realm of Souls, decided to take him as her worker to help her collect the souls of the dead, and blessed him with immortality and incredible strength.
But though he has all the time in the world, he never once felt satisfied with himself. Immortality might seem cool at first, but it gets a bit boring for someone like Red.
That is until he meets Gabby. A special human who could see souls and other entities. As their fate entertwined, both unusually good and bad things started to happen. After finding out that her life is in peril danger, Red was assigned to protect her at all costs. But oh boy, he falls in love with her in the process.
While battling an army for her, he was also battling his own emotions. After all, she's a mortal, and he is not... She'll die soon and he'll live for centuries. How could they work the way normal relationships would?
Oh, time sure flies when you're in love...
