Kapitel 190: Chapter 190: TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS: VALERIE

Our last morning in London was sunny. It was typical; we'd been there almost a week, and it hadn't stopped raining until the morning we were leaving. Lee, Rita and Niven went to the airport with Flynn, Liam, my mom, and I. I could feel Flynn bristle in his seat beside me when Niven held Liam. It had been Lee's idea for a male nanny, and I wasn't convinced Flynn was completely in agreement with hiring him. Neither of us could deny how good he was at taking care of him, though.

The seven-hour flight back was uneventful and seemed longer. Maybe it was because we were looking forward to our time in Iowa. We were all exhausted by the time we landed and once we were on the ground the transfer to the house was a blur.

We'd somehow piled into the back of the minibus, and Lee had driven us the short distance home to my parent's place, even Liam was exhausted. It was only five p.m. in Iowa but eleven p.m., London time.
