Avanya remained cold as always, her face did not show any expression and Damon could not read her. She was not his concern right now, he was more worried about his friend more than anything at that moment. “Leave him be. King will take him back home.” Avanya told Mingjue who was still trying to wake his friend.

“I just want to see if he is ok. He looked shattered when he heard about my illness…”

“It’s better if he wakes up on his own.” Avanya cut him off. “Waking him now will just make it worse. You’ll still be sick and he will still be hurting. Let him rest for now while we figure out a solution to your illness.”

Mingjue looked up from Alessio’s face to the young woman in confusion. “What do you mean? I have already consulted a number of specialists and they’ve all told me the same thing, what else is there to discuss.”
