Kapitel 44: Where is she?!

"You are supposed to be dead." Richard muttered in a dull tone that did not hold even a hint of surprise.

"And here I was thinking that you would be pleased to see me." The old man stated with a dramatic voice as he looked at the unfinished drawing that was on the canvas. His features had not changed since the last time he could recall. Short grey hair, his face did not have any wrinkles and his physique was as perfect as a young man's would.

"I don't think there's anyone who holds pleasure in seeing a dead person alive." Though his remarks could be clearly heard by the old man, at first he did not comment as he admired the unfinished work of art in front of his eyes. "I know. I just thought that someone would be pleased to see me alive." The old man remarked with a disappointed tone.

"It is about time son." The former king stated before adding, "Watching the drama from the other side would be boring which is why I decided to watch it in the living realm."
