Kapitel 309: Tony Stark: 'I Refuse!'"

Tony Stark greeted Captain America and his team in the corridor outside.

Scott Lang introduced his idea of "time travel," saying, "I know this sounds a bit exaggerated..."

Steve Rogers tried to persuade Tony, saying, "Tony, after all we've been through, what's impossible?"

Tony Stark interrupted him, saying, "Quantum fluctuations break the Planck scale, triggering the Deutsch effect, is that what you mean?"

Captain America, Black Widow, and Ant-Man were puzzled by these technical terms.

Tony Stark didn't bother explaining but summarized, "In simple terms, you can't go back."

Scott Lang argued, "But I came back!"

"No," Tony Stark waved his hand, "You're a one-in-billions survivor, and now you want... what do you call it?"

Scott Lang smirked, "Time heist?"

Tony Stark nodded, "Yes, time heist... why didn't we think of this before? Oh, right, because it's absurd, it's like daydreaming!"

Captain America chimed in, "The Infinity Stones are in the past; if we go back, we can get them!"

Natasha Romanoff added, "We can also snap our fingers and bring back everyone who disappeared!"

Tony Stark remained unconvinced, "Changing the past could lead to worse consequences than now, you know?"

Captain America argued, "I don't think so!"

Tony Stark remained steadfast, "Your blind optimism is refreshing, but without a practical plan, it can't be done. I believe the most likely outcome of time heist is the annihilation of all of you!"

Scott Lang persisted, "As long as we strictly follow the rules of time travel, not interacting with our past selves, not betting on any sports events."

Tony Stark shook his head, "No, that's gambling! Scott, do you think the plan to save the universe is just a copy of 'Back to the Future'?"

Scott Lang shrugged, "Well..."

Tony Stark nodded, "Good, you had me worried there because that's all nonsense; quantum physics doesn't work that way."

Natasha couldn't help but say, "Tony, we need to stand our ground."

She believed it was what they, as Avengers, should do.

Tony Stark looked at her seriously, "We've stood our ground, and look where it got us."

Natasha and Steve Rogers fell silent, and only Scott Lang persisted, "I know you have a lot of concerns, You have a wife and a daughter, but I've lost someone important to me, just like many others. Now, there's a chance to bring her and everyone back, and you refuse?"

He tried to use moral leverage on Tony Stark, but he didn't budge, shaking his head, "That's right, Scott, I won't do it. I can't."

Scott Lang was stunned, and Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff sighed.

The atmosphere was somewhat unpleasant, but at that moment, Tony Stark's little angel came to the rescue, saying, "Mommy sent me to save you."

Tony Stark picked up his daughter, saying, "Well done, I'm saved."

He then asked Steve and the others, "Do you want to do something else? Anything you'd like, it's great to see you. How about having a meal together?"

Steve Rogers made one last attempt, saying, "Tony, I understand you, and I'm genuinely happy for you now, but maybe we have a second chance."

Tony Stark looked him in the eyes and replied sincerely, "This is my second chance right here, Captain. I can't take any more risks."

He remained resolute, and Steve Rogers and the others didn't push further, politely declining the invitation to eat together and leaving.

Natasha whispered, "He's scared."

Steve Rogers said, "He's doing the right thing."

Scott Lang asked, "So what do we do? We need him, do we just give up?"

Steve Rogers turned to look at the cabin and said, "No, but for safety's sake, we need to find an expert."

Scott Lang was puzzled, "Someone more expert than him?"

The scene then shifted, showing Scott Lang, Steve Rogers, and Natasha Romanoff in a restaurant with a tall, muscular figure – Dr. Banner.

At that moment, the video paused, followed by a new question: [ Among the following options, who created the time machine]

[A: Tony Stark

B: Scott Lang

C: Bruce Banner

D: Carol Danvers.]

Steve Rogers pondered, "The future's failure had a significant impact on Thor and Tony..."

Natasha also mused, "It's surprising that such an arrogant guy would say 'I can't.'"

Steve Rogers glanced at her, "Family ties matter, and Tony has done enough. I don't think his choice is wrong."

Scott Lang scratched his head, "I thought he would at least consider my plan."

"Scott, Tony is a hero, but don't forget, he's also just a regular person. Feeling tired is normal," Steve Rogers said.

Scott Lang shrugged, "Alright, alright. So, which option should we choose for this question?"

Steve Rogers contemplated, "We can probably eliminate option 'd'; Carol seems more like a fighter than a scientist. The answer should be between 'b' and 'c.' Personally, I think 'b' is more likely, but of course, Dr. Banner is also an excellent scientist."

Natasha nodded, "Although Tony's arrogance is off-putting, for making a time machine... I'd still choose him. But the problem is, he refused!"

Steve Rogers concluded, "Well, the information in the video might also be misleading us. I've had my share of experiences with that!"
