Ye Jin's brows furrowed, her heart sinking deeper. "But he didn't have an accident in the original story?"

GMS 005's response was cold and detached: [Correct. His accident is an unexpected variable, likely caused by your involvement. Your presence in this world is affecting the natural flow of events.]

Ye Jin froze, her mind reeling. A butterfly effect.
