Kapitel 34: Arc 1

A week quickly passed. Ye Jin was in class, and she was not in a good mood. This was because she hadn't seen Mei Yun in a week. Mei Yun hadn't come to school, and she hadn't replied to her texts either. At some point, Ye Jin began to get scared, thinking that something bad must have happened to Mei Yun.

Due to this constant worry gnawing at her, Ye Jin decided to meet the homeroom teacher to ask if he had any idea why Mei Yun hadn't been coming to school.

Mr. Xie looked up from the paper he was working on, a flicker of sympathy in his eyes. "Mei Yun has gone abroad to continue her studies," he said gently. "Her father informed me yesterday."
