"Who was that?" I asked Lucas when the man and his daughter were already out of earshot.

"Just some company president wanting to curry favor." Lucas answered as if it had nothing to do with him.

"I could see that he's aiming for more than 'currying favor'." I chuckled.

"Ha! How could he ever dream of me hooking up with his daughter?" He said mockingly.

"Why not? A man can dream." I smiled widely at him. "Even a girl can." My smile turned even wider.

A flick then immediately came to my forehead.

"Ah! What was that for?!" I looked at Lucas feeling wronged.

"Do you believe I would kiss you passionately in the middle of this hall?" Lucas asked as he narrowed his eyes.

"Haha…" I laughed awkwardly. "I believe you."

"Then behave yourself."

"But what I said is true. That girl definitely dreams of you." A snicker came out of me again.

"Well, who doesn't dream of me?" He retorted haughtily.

"I don't." I shrugged.

"Mia." He called my name in warning.
