Trinity Island was the largest island owned by the Trinity Clan, a few miles out from the Mainland that the Fae Folk owned. 

The people here were a mixture of races, who were completely self-sufficient and did not follow the laws of the mainland. 

Going over the information in Selena's head, if I had to associate them with anything human, Pirates were the first thing that came to mind.

If whatever Fiona had done with my blood, worked, Silas should wake up any day now.

Like Sebastian, Fiona was also called a mage by the others. Tayna was her first student, not a mage but an acolyte. Like I guess I was now too.

At least I had figured out what species she was. Her mother was a siren and her father a simple human. Her mother had been killed by her own kind, leaving her father to raise her alone. The main reason she wanted to help with the serum was to help her aging father.
