The first light of dawn bathed the woods in a soft, golden glow as Rai slowly returned to his place. The recent events had left him weary. The successful rescue of the dryads, and the intense dreams, had taken their toll. Now, with the immediate dangers averted, his allies insisted he take some time to rest and recover.
He felt a wave of relief wash over him. The land was his sanctuary, a place of solace and reflection. It stood as a reminder of simpler times before the weight of his responsibilities had become so overwhelming.
Waiting at the entrance was Callis, his butler, who had been his constant companion and protector. Callis's sharp eyes softened as he saw him approach, a gentle smile on his lips. "Welcome back, my lord," he said, giving courtesy. The young lad was about to talk, but he quickly cut him off. "You've done more than anyone could ask. It's time to take care of yourself."
