Broken weapons have their effects reduce and may have unusable effects. The things that are shown in like this (Creates a blade of Aura and magic when attacking) are unavailable because the weapon is broken

With the very generous donations from the people of Vale, he made his way into Griffin's Weapon Shop. It is a small shop without many visitors. There are tables full of weapons scattered about on them without any organization. Roman looks around and realized he doesn't know the first thing about weapons. Focusing on a plane looking mace that looks like a comically large metal cylinder with spikes on it attached to a metal pole he focused on identifying it. (This probably won't work but I might as well try.) with the dinging of a notification two blue screens pop up.

Roman looks around more he finds a cane beating up with a greenish bronze handle it's faded green paint missing in some places exposing raw ebony and its tarnished silver ferrule. (I wonder what that is) thinks Roman as he uses Identification.

This is a damaged Relic from a long-forgotten age of magic and gods. It was made unbreakable with the great Wizard's power but the damage it has sustained has rendered most of its abilities inactive.]
Rum and just stared blankly at the green cane (what the ever-loving mother fucking hell is Ozpin's old cane doing here. I have to buy this if I don't buy this I'm dumb) Roman thinks as he picks up the cane and goes to the cashier.
"You want this old thing, my name is Griffin by the way," Griffin says as Roman puts the cane on the counter.
" Yes, I do I figured I could pretty it up and give it to my dad he is getting on in the years, and having a hard time walking don't know why it's at a weapon shop though," Roman replies with a smile.
" Well, it's something I picked up on my travels so I figured why not put it on a table maybe somebody will want it, it'll be 500 Lien by the way," Griffin says with a grin.
Roman pay and leaves the store, Griffin stares at the empty doorway lost in thought. Making his way thru the busy streets of Vale leveling his pickpocketing skill along the way. Making his way North near the gates of Vale he goes into an alley nearby and creates a dungeon well inside the dungeon he makes his way out of the city. Leaving the dungeon he walks further into the forest looking for Grimm. He finds a loan Beowolf (This is a really bad idea I have no combat experience and I'm about to go fight a creature created to fight and kill people) Roman thing says Panic starts to set in. The panic is suddenly pushed down in his mind it still exists making him understand he must be careful but he can think logically it is not overwhelming.

(This one is much weaker than I thought it would be okay this shouldn't be that hard probably.) Roman thinks to himself. Attempting to sneak up on the Beowolf which is only marginally successful he manages to get fairly close before the Beowolf notices him. The Beowulf turns around quickly and stares intently at Roman its red eyes full of malice and hatred, the Beowolf lunges quickly at Roman after a second wich Roman manages to doge.
Roman quickly smashes the cane onto the Beowolf's head well it passes by, it stops and rushes back towards him dodging another swipe of its claws Roman smashes the handle of the cane into its face once more knocking it off balance making it miss its next attack. Roman brings his cane down a third time on the top of its head then kicks it hard to gain distance recovering from the hits the Beowolf swipes once more and finally hits roman luckily his aura shield is active stumbling backward from the force of the hit recovering quickly, Roman swings and hits the Beowolf once more the Beowolf stumbles and falls to the ground. He hits himself in the shin in his excitement
