Kapitel 12: " Master's betrayal"
As A Li walked forward, he stepped on something shallow & grassy, but he still chose to go ahead. As his next step landed...
A Li's ( POV) 😉
with a loud... Thud!! sound,
I was under the ground.
it was a trap that was set,
with just a step, it was all I could get,
all around myself, I gazed,
just to find myself caged,
I was tricked by my master again,
My master loves to see me in pain.
under the ground, in a cage covered in
dust, I looked like a fool,
but I still think my master is cool.
I thought to get me out my master will plan,
I lifted my head to find a laughing man.
I thought about getting out of this situation,
but my master teased me despite the condition
my master said with a laugh...
Inside this cage, you look like a beautiful decoration,
Why don't you make this place your destination?
I asked my master to get me out of the cage
but my master had a mischievous gaze.
The cold down there was making me freeze,
After a long time, he finally helped me with ease.
As I got out, I felt alive again,
It seems that my Master enjoyed the little game.

They continued to walk forward. The place was all set up with traps around.
As they moved further, they heard a sound as though something was moving around.
They carefully observed the situation. What they saw was that the tree branches were ready to welcome them. Those were the same branches that had put Gao Lei and his guard in a difficult position.
In one go A Li cut out all the branches & they flew from that place and landed at some distance,
As soon as they set their feet on the ground, they saw blades from above were showering on them from every direction.
Wang Bai easily avoided every attack, and A Li used his sword.
After a long time of the attacks and defending, the blades stopped attacking them.
" This old man... Tsk... What is he? A beautiful and mighty Princess that every soul on earth is after, and he thinks setting these traps would save the princess from bad guys"...
A Li interrupted Master he is your...
" Ah, now don't start lecturing me, I regret helping you"
"Sorry master, A Li won't say it again"

As they were nearby, the cave was blocked by trees and thorns.
Those weren't any ordinary thorns. If one of them was to pierce the poison in, it would make them lose their mind. So they had to be very careful,
They tried to fly again, but they were blocked by the trees in front,
"This is such a pain," Saying this Wang Bai waved his hand & in an instant, all the trees and thorns moved aside. Between them, he elegantly walked like a king.
they reached the bottom of the cave, but as it said before, one has to climb to enter the cave,
The purpose of this was, dangerous species were crawling on the way to the entrance.
one would be bitten to death by them.
Wang Bai & A Li straight away flew to the entrance,
"Ha! after all the boredom we had been through, now finally".
" Yes master, we are here, but we still have those spiders to deal with".
"That's so silly! I guess this old man arranged a child's play in the name of traps," he said and walked in a narrow passage in front and A Li followed him behind.
****The place in itself was very weird and dangerous. A normal person with strong physic and Martial skills could have only survived 2 traps at the least, with the scary aura and the risky traps. It was a miracle if anybody was alive may be more than a miracle,
but to Wang Bai, it looked childish.
As they entered, they saw all the spiders hanging down from their webs.
Now Wang Bai was very irritated, he again lifted his hand, but A Li stopped him
"Don't kill them Master"
" Oh really? Are you in love with those nasty creatures? Ha?" Wang Bai turned towards A Li and continued in a mocking tone.
"Once you fell in love with Grandmaster, then me. Now these spiders, what's going on, A Li? "
As A Li was about to answer, Wang Bai turned back & in an instant, he moved all the spiders and waved their webs near A Li. with a sarcastic smile he said "Enjoy" and walked in.
Once again A Li was caught in a difficult situation. Those spiders were called "Lifeless"
with just a ting sting pricked on the skin
Within a second, the body would turn blue & the airways would be blocked. Due to lack of oxygen and sudden intrusion of a strong poison, the person would die within a minute.
While A Li was still struggling, Wang Bai was enjoying the beautiful scene inside.
He passed through all the beautifully arranged rocks and touched them admiringly. He moved further near the pond and sat there looking at the calm and transparent water, which looked magical, and he smiled.
He got up from there and came towards the left corner of the cave. There was a well-decorated place that was suitable for sitting peacefully arranged with a small table on which was a big green jade that was shining like a lamp.
Wang Bai kept the bottles of wine on the table and said...
" Oh! Look, what I've here, he pointed and said:,"Forget your sorrow" didn't you love to drink it? Now I am going to try the marvellous taste of this great wine." Saying this, he opened the seal, lifted his head, opened his mouth and poured the wine continuously.
Li came in and saw the situation. His heart ached. He went near Wang Bai & held his hand with which he was pouring down the wine into his mouth; he took the bottle away from Wang Bai and said,
"I know you're very hurtful and upset, but do you think Grandmaster will be happy to see you in this state".
" Ha! Grandmaster? He is not worthy of that. He is just an ignorant old fool, a selfish person. He is not my master! He is a betrayer"
Saying this, he took another bottle from the table and stood up as he walked around. He poured all the wine on the ground and said,
" Isn't this the place you liked the most? Now look, I'm spoiling it, and he threw the bottle with force. The bottle collided with the wall of the cave, breaking it into pieces.
He again went and took another bottle from A Li and repeated the same procedure. Now the place looked like a mess.
"Now look at this, do you dare to say anything to me, scold me, punish me, Ha? What can you do now?"
A Li tried to control Wang Bai, and he tried to convince him to stop but he was stubborn and didn't move an inch, neither did he listen to A Li.
A Li thought for a second & Left him there and walked towards the entrance. When he came out and saw the light snowfall, tears escaped his eyes. A Li wiped the tears and stood there looking at the starry sky with his hands folded behind.
