At night(Dorm room 35):
"Hahh, nothing beats a warm bath," I said resting on the couch in bliss.
There are no heaters here, so we have to manually heat the water in a Steel container and then pour it in a bucket and bathe. All the effort is still worth it...
"Haaaaaa", I said stretching in comfort.
"Hey Elekid, let's go out for a walk and do some investigation around this area...." I said gazing at Elekid who is sucking out some stored electricity through a huge battery that was made for electric pokemon.
This was not a conventional battery from Earth, I just know that the container has Zinc Sulphate and Sulphuric acid with a zinc electrode. The whole thing generates a current which is absorbed by the Pokemon.
Elekid fell in love with the battery the moment he saw it so had to buy it, at least this is preventing him from running out and causing blackouts.
At my mention of going out for a walk, Elekid stopped the electricity absorption...
[Finally!! I was becoming restless] he said jumping up and stretching his arms.
"You need to be silent though, it's 10:30 pm now. I want to check out a place that is a mile away from here," I said making Elekid curious.
[What place?] he asked tilting his head.
"Hehe, you will know," I said walking out the door with Elekid sitting on my shoulder.

Ok!! it's been an hour now and I couldn't find the place. This map is fake!!!!!
'I am sure the map says it is around here.' I thought looking at the map again in doubt.
[What is the place?] asked Elekid again.
"It's called Cemetery," I said while looking to my left, there were a lot of trees and seems empty.
[Cemetery? What is that?] he asked in confusion.
"It's where the dead are buried, I heard this is the place where ghost Pokemon are cultivated by the academy," I said looking at Elekid.
[Ddd...Dead? Ghost Pokemon? why? Is it not enough I get pranked by Golett every day?] he said jumping down my shoulders in annoyance and half panic.
"Why? are you afraid? " I ask making him flinch.
[Whhhooo? Who is afraid? I am the most brutal Pokemon here] he said in a stuttered tone.
"Anyways, we won't be going inside the cemetery. That would be death, I just want to see the location from the outside," I said searching around for an empty area like on the map.
[Why do you want to do that?] asked Elekid in confusion.
"For a trainer, his first 4 Pokemon are most important because they give the most benefit out of all. So I want to catch a Ghost-type as early as possible," I said making Elekid imagine all the pranks he is been going through because of Golett.
'If I catch the Ghost-type any later than 4 pokemon then the invisibility will almost be useless.'
As the number of pokemon contracts increases, the effect of the ability obtained goes down. For example, the Ghost-type obtained as a starter provides greater stealth ability when compared with contracting it as the fifth or sixth pokemon.
In my case, my reaction speed would only get insane as Elekid improves drastically.
As I was thinking,
"Who goes there?" I heard a sudden voice to my far left.
I immediately walked up to the man,
"Hello!! I am a student here. I just wanted to know where the Cemetery is," I asked the man.
He had a dusty loose t-shirt and long track pants. He seemed around 35 to 40 years old and had grey hair on the sides.
"Do you have a Ghost Pokemon? if so leave it here and I will take it to the Cemetery. No humans are allowed inside. I am the caretaker here," he said studying me.
"No, I don't have a Ghost-type pokemon but I want to catch one," I said stating my business.
"Do you have the Academy's authorization? Show me your credits," he said back in suspicion.
"Credits? Do you mean the points awarded for doing official missions? No, I don't have pokemon above beginner level yet," I said sighing.
"Hahahaha, is this a joke? Go back Kid, it's an instant death even if you get Academy's authorization," he said in a mocking tone.
"Well, I am not exactly here to catch a Ghost-type now. I just want information regarding this place, like the rules and regulations. I will come back after my Elekid becomes an Intermediate Pokemon," I said pointing out my Elekid beside me.
"Ohhh!!! If it's just the information, I can give you but it will cost money. Also, don't try to find the info in the library or on campus. You would get none as this place is almost prohibited for the first-year students," he said looking at my appearance.
"Money? How much?" I ask back.
"If you want to know complete information then it would cost around 20,000 dollars," he said smirking.
"What??? No way and what's the proof that you are not just conning me," I said in a loud questioning gaze.
He then took out his Academy ID from his back pocket and showed it to me, It read:
'Professor Baldwin Hoult, Elite Trainer.'
This ID was not fake as I could see the official seal.
'What? This man is an elite trainer? He looks like a homeless guy,' I thought.
"That doesn't explain anything about paying money for information," I said back but was more polite this time.
"Kid, I just offered a proposal that never exists. Do you not understand what I told you, First years are prohibited from catching any Ghost types. The offer only stands now, take it or leave," he said impatiently.
He seemed like a guy who is bored out of his mind. 20k is too much but I need this information to make my plan work,
'Fuckkk'
"Ok, I will pay the money but you should give me the accurate information," I said taking the amount from my wallet.
He gleefully collected the cash and pocketed them immediately.
"Follow me, I will explain as we walk and put your Pokemon inside the Pokeball. Ghost Pokemon love to kidnap young cute Pokemon," he said scaring both me and Elekid. Before I return Elekid, I found that he was already gone inside the Pokeball.
I chuckled at that and started following him.
After a two minute walk, I was presented with dense trees and a very narrow path inside. No one would even notice it as I could barely fit through the path. I felt like I was walking in an Amazon forest, every tree was tall and high as if grown to cover the presence of the Cemetery.
"You see, there are quite a few people in the academy staff that train Ghost Pokemon and this place were built as a friendly environment and also a training ground for them," said Mister Baldwin pointing at the huge empty area that appeared in my sight the moment we crossed a 300 meters long dense forest.
What changed was not just the surroundings but also the thickness in the air around here. The temperature around seemed to turn negative, it was a complete shift.
"Although Ghost Pokemon here don't usually attack Academy students, they do play some dangerous pranks that might lead to death. Initially, there were only trainer's or Staff's Pokemon but as years went on many wild ghost types started flocking around and some even settled here. Eventually, this Cemetery turned into a good environment for Ghost breeding," he said arriving at a cottage.
"I live here during the nights to guard this area so that nothing serious happens," he said inviting me in.
"No, let's stay out and talk," I said while keeping an eye on my surroundings. The environment was chilly and creepy here so I did not want to go inside a closed-door tiny cottage of someone I just met.
"The environment here is always creepy, the ghost energy is very thick around here so you should know the eventual output," he said while locking the cottage back.
"Earlier, you mentioned the term 'Breeding grounds'. Are you telling me that Ghost Pokemon lay eggs around here? and if so what do you do with them?" I ask back in curiosity.
"Yes, they do lay eggs during this time of the season. We keep the high potential ones to enrich the graveyard while selling the low talented ones," he said laying down on the muddy ground.
"Do you guys offer the high potential Pokemon eggs to students? " I ask him in doubt.
"Offering eggs? No, how can we know the potential of the pokemon before hatching? I just send the talented hatched young ones to the Academy building. They record the details and put a few for exchange through credit points, the others return and enrich the energy here," he said giving me more details.
"So, how many Ghost Pokemon would you say are here? and how many talented ones amongst them?" I ask back.
"As for the number of ghost Pokemon, it's around 120 to 150. Almost all are above Yellow grade, we don't keep the Red and Orange grade ones. There's only a low probability of getting a high-grade potential even if the parents are talented" he said sighing.
'Well, the research aspect regarding breeding is still low in this era.'
"What about thieves or poachers? Do they come here often?" I ask again.
"Thieves? Poachers? Heh, no one dares to set foot in here. The Ghost Pokemon would eat them alive, not to say the Pokemon that are below an Elite level cannot escape my eyes," he said in confidence and continued,
"Anyone who is an Elite trainer would rather buy the Pokemon than risk offending the Academy, so almost no one dares," he said while giving me an odd look as if trying to ask something.
"What??? I don't have any plans to enter here and steal Ok? Do I look like a person who snatches pokemon? " I ask back.
"That's good!! Although the information I said is not so confidential, you will only learn it next year so be glad that I gave the info," he said like a saint.
"As if you gave me the information for free. Also, how much is the cost? l mean how much does it cost to buy a Ghost-type through the Academy?" I asked.
"Cost? A normal green grade would cost 20-30 million but if you want a peak green then it would cost 45-50 million dollars. 1 credit point is worth 100 dollars so you figure out the math," he said thinking it through
'So much?? I think I will never be able to buy it before the tournament' I thought in frustration.
"So you told me you stay here right? Do you always live around here? I mean no one would want to right?" I ask looking at the condition of the area here.
"Nah, I am not that crazy. I am only here for this season as a task to guard. Easy work for an Elite professor if you want a lot of credit points. Anyways, I answered the amounts worth, now go start earning credit points," he said shooting me away.
"So quickly? you barely answered 5 questions," I said in irritation.
"Kid, you have multiple questions in your every question. So go back now, be glad that I am even telling the info," he said and shooed me away.
'Fuck!!!' I thought and walked back in the same path I came in.
I need to collect half a million credit points which is impossible with one Pokemon.
'I need to implement my Plan B, I have no other choice,' I thought walking back.
Ghost Pokemon are different, while normal Pokemon guard their eggs with life, Primary Ghost Pokemon frequently eat their eggs for energy. The embryo of Ghost Pokemon is highly rich in ghost energy, so most Ghost Pokemon can't resist the temptation which is why it is hard to safely produce or breed a talented ghost type.
I am sure this Elite professor Baldwin Hoult is kept here to safe keep the eggs for this breeding season. He said no one dares to step inside the graveyard but he still guards the place. I know for a fact that thieves and Poachers stay away from the Royal Academy Grounds. The only reason the academy hired an elite professor for just one season is to make sure that not all eggs are consumed.
I got the key information needed and the possible location of the eggs. The cottage is only his living space, it looked way too small to safe keep the eggs. Most Pokemon in the graveyard are wild so no doubt they will try to eat their eggs while Baldwin safe keeps them to prevent that.
I spotted a one storey building on the extreme opposite side of the graveyard. I did not ask him about it to not seem very suspicious than I already am. I presume one or two of his elite Pokemon guard in that place or maybe all of them.
My next plan is to investigate the Pokemon professor Baldwin has. They can't see the potential from the egg but I can see it with my eyes. All I need is to see those eggs, If I am going to train a crazy creature like ghost type then it has to be from scratch.
I plan to take the offensive route of abilities as they suit my reaction speed. Currently, I see no changes but Professor Amelia said that improvements happen only when a Pokemon breaks through a level or evolve.
'All my hope, for now, is on Golett who will be my egg-stealing partner,' I thought and walked back.
Golett seemed like a friendly Pokemon but I know that it is at least Peak advanced Pokemon or even an Initial Elite level. I could see the energy inside of Golett improving every time he visits for candies or playing.
Arden seems to be grinding with Golett and maybe that's the reason he is taking a rest from royal tasks. The whole teaching thing might be a cover or excuse to earn more free time for Golett's training.
After all, 5 of his other pokemon are King Level. Golett being a new addition has to keep up with others.
If I manage to convince or bait Golett into this operation, I might even be safe from being punished for the unfortunate circumstances of being caught. No one is going to punish the great 'Arden Vickster' right?
I am still not sure if it's worth risking it but sometimes risks are necessary for a better strong future. There's no way Professor Baldwin would keep a count of more than 100 or so eggs right? I mean even if one is missing, they might think the Ghosts inside the graveyard might have slipped through and eaten it.
This is a three-month-long plan so there's no rush to implement it.
'I have time in my hands, I can plan each step meticulously,' I thought and entered the Dorm.
