Kapitel 8: Chapter 8: The Curse
"We are from the dealership your jeep has arrive"
"Oooh Dear, Ace the jeep has arrive." called Roger excitedly as he hurriedly run towards the Jeep.
The man from the dealership look dumbfounded, as he saw a tall middle aged man excitedly ran towards the jeep like a kid receiving a Christmas gift.
He then heard a childish voice coming from the house.
"Really Dad?" ask Ace excitedly as he also ran to the jeep.
Rouge followed Ace as she heard Roger calling them, then she saw a man standing at the door looking at the two.
"Hello ma'am can you please sign here to confirm that you receive the delivery?" said the man as he present the paper in front of Rouge.
The man left after Rouge signed the papers. He kept looking at the father and son duo who is currently caressing the jeep.
"*sigh* This two." said Rouge as she walk to Roger and Ace.
"*bam* You should be learning on how to drive." said Rouge as she smack Roger.
"WAHAHAHAHAHA well this is also same way I react when I saw Oro Jackson for the first time WAHAHAHA and don't worry I already have some experience from riding a ship."
"*sigh* Dad you know this is a land vehicle so you won't be able to apply your experience when you're on your ship."
"Dear there are instructions here for the use of this jeep." said Rouge as she give the manual to Roger.
"WAHAHAHAHAHA just give me an hour and I will learn it."
*sigh* Rouge head back, as she left both Ace and Roger figuring out the uses.
(A while later)
*crash* Rouge immediately head out after she a crashing sound.
She saw the jeep crash unto the tree. But strange enough the jeep is completely fine. While the tree is completely destroyed.
"What happened?" as she look at Roger and Ace worriedly looking for any injuries.
"Everything is fine Mom, it's just that I think Dad completely forgot about the breaks"
Roger exits the jeep. "WAHAHAHAHAHA I step on the gas and completely forgot about the breaks. Luckily Ace and I thought of something and tried coating the whole jeep with my haki and it worked that's why the jeep is completely unharmed." said Roger while patting Ace.
'tch I'm the one who came up with the idea' thought Ace.
"Well be careful both of you" as she went inside.
(3 days later)
Nothing much happened.
Oak discussed about the land, and they bought it.
Roger practice his driving and sometimes go around with Rouge and Munchlax as Ace is mostly in his computer researching about pokemons. He is really curious about different species, it will help on his journey as he might not have time to browse his computer as Roger will train him the next week.
Roger also finish the training manual for Red and Blue on what training can they improve their aura.
Right now the Gol family is currently on their way to the Viridian City. Roger is wearing an unbuttoned pink shirt with rolled sleeves, yellow pants with yellow sash and a brown boots. Rouge is wearing a long, short-sleeved, light blue dress that reached down to her feet and a pair of sandals. Ace is wearing a yellow shirt, black shorts with an orange belt, a pair of black boots and his orange hat. While Munchlax is Munchlax.
While they on their way Roger release a bit of of his aura to ward off the wild pokemons.
As they arrive they saw buildings everywhere cars and people moving in every direction. They felt like they just entered a brand new world. They sometimes saw it on TV but its different it they really saw it with their own eyes. As they continue to marveled the sight, Roger look for some parking spots as they prefer to walk to explore the city.
They get out of the jeep and starts thinking on what to do first.
"I think we should have a lunch first." suggest Roug.
Three nodded their heads.
As they looked for restaurant. They stumbled upon an all you can eat buffet.
As they entered they saw many pokemons eat with their trainers. They found out that dishes aren't being serve instead they need to get it for themselves.
They quickly found a seat and Rouge decided to head to the counter to pay the fee. After that they started eating. Roger, Ace and Munchlax kept finishing their food under a minute then they continue getting more they never stayed on their seat as they kept trying everything, while Rouge only sometimes getting for herself.
Rouge watch the three with a sweet smile at they didn't bothered the gaze of the others.
Sometimes Ace will fall asleep earning him a smack from Roger while laughing.
Their plate keep stacking as sometimes the one who cleared the plates can't keep up.
After trying almost everything they got up their seat, well except for Munchlax who is asleep as Roger returns him to his pokeball.
After they exit.
The manager look at them with a smile. "That's one hell of a family HAHAHAHA" he didn't care if the diners ate too much as they have many food sometimes they fed pokemons with the leftovers.
They head to the park to rest after eating.
They saw trainers and their pokemons. Sometimes wild pokemons will fly and run around.
Ace saw crowds gathering at some trainers having a match he decided to watch.
"Mom, Dad I'm just gonna watch." said Ace as he ran to the crowd.
"Don't go too far you might get lost HAHAHA" said Rouge with a teasing voice as she knows Ace is already a teenager before he reverted into being a kid.
Ace almost fell as he heard his mom.
"Dear it seems you're already full from all that eating."
"WAHAHAHAHA no way, I will only be full with your cooking." said Roger.
As Rouge lay at Rogers shoulder with a smile.
"Dear, what do you say going for an adventure after Ace left, just the two of us." Roger suggest.
"Maybe we can, as I found out there are different regions out there just like here which is called Kanto Region, I want to feel going on an adventure just like you when we are on our old world." said Rouge.
"WAHAHAHAHA it's decided then, let's start here in Kanto Region then after that we can buy a ship to sail for other regions."
"I have an idea, I heard from Professor Oak the other day about the pokemon league. Every region has their own pokemon league. Why don't I participate as well. I can battle gyms while we travel and became the last boss that Ace have to face before becoming the champion WAHAHAHAHAHA."
"Dad what are you laughing about?" asked Ace as the match had finished.
"Nothing Son your Mom and I are just talking some things."
"So how's the match did you learn anything?" asked Roger.
(A while before)
Ace ran to the crowd to watch the matches.
He saw a girl with a Metapod and a boy with a Pidgey facing each other.
He use 'Eye of Truth' to look at their stats.

He didn't care about their potential as he saw higher than that at Professor Oak's laboratory's backyard.
He watched the match.
Pidgey use its advantage and fly up high, as it attack Metapod with gust continuously. While Metapod just kept using harden until it barely receive a damage from Pidgey. The boy ask Pidgey to use tackle, but the girl already seen it and ask Metapod to use string shot to Pidgey. Pidgey tried to dodge but it got caught. Then Metapod use tackle and Pidgey receives the hit. Left with no other choice the boy ask Pidgey to fly and used gust again continuously. Pidgey seems to be getting tired, but Metapod is getting exhausted, because of the gust. Metapod is the first one to fall.
'If the Metapod can hold on much longer then it can defeat the Pidgey.' thought Ace.
Some of the crowd mocks the boy saying that it's unfair for the girl.
As the crowd disperse Ace head back to his parents.
He saw Roger laughing.
"Dad what are you laughing about?" asked Ace as the match had finished.
"Nothing Son your Mom and I are just talking some things."
"So how's the match did you learn anything?" asked Roger.
"Yep, you can use types as your advantage, but sometimes you need to have good tactics that can defeat your opponents even if your at disadvantage."
"Well let's go shopping" said Rouge.
They head to the mall.
As they enter they saw many things. The three tried some ice cream.
They entered the shopping center they both some pokeballs so they can catch some pokemons if they want to.
They also bought a camera so they can take a picture to fill up the walls.
Then they head to the men's clothing to buy Roger and Ace's clothes.
As they are looking around Ace caught sight of some shirts he want as he go to the kid's section.
Roger and Rouge kept looking some clothes.
Roger told Rouge that he will go to restroom.
While waiting Rouge is looking at some clothes for Roger.
Then two guys approached her.
"Hey lady you seemed to be lonely want to hang out?" ask the guy 1.
As they both look at Rouge with lustful gazes.
"Oh I'm sorry I'm with my husband and son." replied Rouge with no emotion.
"They seemed to take while, why don't you come with us and have some chat." said the guy 2.
After exiting the restroom Roger found Rouge talking with two guys. He walk towards them.
"What's going on here?" ask Roger.
"Who are yo..." the guy 1 is about to ask when Rouge cut him off.
"Nothing Dear they just ask me to hang out with them even though I already told them that I'm with my husband and son." replied Rouge.
The guy 1 and 2 turn their head as they found a muscular tall man with a black mustache grinning at them, but the grin brings chills to their spine as if they where ants in front of a beast looking down at them.
"Hoooh WAHAHAHAHA so you both tried to hit on my wife huh WAHAHAHAHA" Roger just laugh at them. While Rouge is chuckling at them.
They sweat just hearing their laughs.
"Unfortunately we are law abiding citizen, because if no one is around you can stay at the hospital to your heart's content WAHAHAHAHAHA." as he look at them releasing a bit of intent.
*gulp* they believe that this man can also kill them without a single thought as they hurriedly ran. Running far away as possible.
"Dad, Mom why are they running?" ask Ace.
"Nothing they are just asking for directions and left excitedly." replied Rouge as she found Ace carrying 'kids' clothes.
"Is that what you want?" ask Rouge.
"Yep" replied Ace.
They continue to look at some clothes for Roger.
After that they move to the women section, well they took three hours just by looking, as Rouge barely picks anything.
After they paid for the clothes they decided to head home.
Rouge can't store the clothes on her storage ring because of the curse.
So Roger stored the clothes on his ring.
'*huff* this is more exhausting than fighting Whitebeard for days. That's why that god put that curse on Rouge's ring.' thought Roger as he experience having a shopping with his wife.
They head home Roger use his aura again to ward off wild pokemons.
As they reach their home they ate dinner and another day had passed.
(In the next morning.)
"Ace wake up! I'm gonna train you and Munchlax with haki." said Roger at the sleeping Ace.

(AN: I use some reference from other one piece ff where xebec coat the ship with his haki. For Roger I found out on some fandoms that Roger is a short tempered man, he can be violent and ruthless at some times.)
