I just sat there for 3 hours, not moving like a statue, staring at nothingness with blank eyes.
*sigh*
Soon, I get a hold of myself as if my lifeless body was revived as my blank looks were replaced by a mixture of negative emotions.
With a dark circle in both of my eyes as a sight of lack of sleep, I get out of bed with my weak body and sweats that already dried up.
Seeing the sun rising from the window, I fixed myself as I took a bath and dress up nicely.
I went on my way to the first floor and directly exited the building without even greeting Trevor and the others.
I've been here for a while now so I should already familiarize myself with this town's facilities but since Im always busy, I don't have time to chill and look around.
Having no mood to do something productive, I decided to relax once in a while strolling around the town for the first time.
I went on my way to the center of the town which is the most developed part of the town.
Toriko Town who has a size comparable to the earth's average city is divided into two different parts; namely the outer layer where the library was and the inner layer where the high class and rich families live, it's also the most prosperous part of the city.
Even though Toriko Town isn't a part of the major cities and Towns in Kanto, that doesn't mean that it is a backward town.
Toriko Town might not be a top-class town but it sure is a mid-class.
After a while, I arrive at the center of the town also called the 'plaza' where I saw a bunch of stalls selling various stuff from fast food to souvenirs, the people here were living a luxurious life having advanced tools and a house made of stones contrary to the people living in the outer layer who's house was made of woods.
It's already obvious that whoever the person governing this town is at fault for this.
I stopped thinking about it as it won't do me anything and it's not like I have any care for the citizens of this town.
Since I'm here to relax, that's what im going to do.
I go to different fast food stalls trying every single dish, just enjoying my very first vacant since coming to this world.
This place also has a bunch of buildings like Pokecenter which is incomparable to the Pokecenter in the outer layer and other more stuff like Pokemart and jewelry shops where I notice people from rich families hangs around, particularly women.
I just continue strolling and trying different stuff for the whole day until I notice the sun starting to set.
I found a very nice hotel not far from the plaza and park.
"Welcome sir" The guard greeted while bowing, typical Japanese greetings.
I also bow slightly to him and directly head to the front desk.
"How may I help you sir?" The front desk lady asked me with a polite tone.
"A room for 1 please"
Hearing what I said, the front desk lady type something on the computer in front of her, maybe checking if there is any rooms left.
"We have 3 available rooms sir, which one would you like?" She asked as she move her eyes from the computer to me.
"I'll take the most spacious and comfortable then" I gave my answer as the front desk lady once again type something on her computer.
"That would be 5000 poke dollars sir" She asked as I reach from my pocket then take 5000 poke dollars from my inventory.
I passed the money to her as she took it with polite manners and put it into the cash register.
"Your room was number 367 sir" She said while passing a key with a number 367 on it which I took without hesitation.
I went on my way quickly to the room entering an elevator, I soon arrive at the 4th floor where my room was.
Soon enough, I arrive at my room which is incomparable compared to the one I have in the library.
The room was about 500 Square feet and have a bathroom, a bed, and other necessary stuff.
Satisfied with the room's layout, I head straight to the bathroom not before checking for any type of camera device, and fortunately, there is none.
I took the best bath I ever had since coming to this world, staying inside for 1 hour just relaxing in the bathtub.
After a while, I got dressed and decided to go to sleep noticing that it was already dark outside.
Fortunately, I manage to have a nice and peaceful rest.

" yawnnn.." I stretch my hands upward while standing in front of the window with messy hair and with my pajamas on.
I felt extremely nice and in good mood having a peaceful night, I have a cheerful smile plastered on my face looking at the trees and people who were minding their own business outside the window.
I head to the bathroom and took a bath and soon after got dressed.
Today is different compared to yesterday, I didn't plan to relax but observe and acquire some subordinates on the way.
I commence my scheme starting here in the hotel by marking every personnel and citizen who was staying but an unexpected thing happened.
"Good morning sir," The guard said in a polite tone while bowing to me.
"Good morning too" I answer in a friendly tone as I tap his shoulder and activate my Mark of trust when suddenly.
[Ding! Mark of Trust failed, The host strength is insufficient]
My eyebrows tighten when I suddenly saw a Pokeball on his waist, I tried using appraise on it and it was a success!

My face remains calm outside but deep down inside I was a little stunned seeing this guard's Pokemon.
Even though It only has a White potential, its level 26 wasn't for show.
Maybe Turtwig would have a chance but in this world, the level is everything, no matter how superior your aptitude, you will still lose to Pokemon with a much higher level just like this fearow.
Even though I was disappointed, I knew I couldn't do anything about it so I just let it be for now and head on my way to the plaza.
I continue my frenzy, marking every single person I could on the plaza and after just 1 hour of marking, I was damn tired so I decided to rest first.
I was peacefully sitting on the bench in the park when I suddenly heard a noise not far from my spot.
"You don't deserve to live with us, you should live with those poor outer people" A child's feminine voice said which piqued my attention.
I move toward the sound's source and saw 3 girls standing up surrounding a red-haired girl bullying and insulting her.
I was about to leave the place but when I saw the red-haired girl's face, it piqued my interest as I move to their location.
"Hey, do you know bullying is bad?" I shouted toward the 3 girls which startled them as they started running away as fast as they can.
The remaining girl look at me with a teary and thankful look.
"Are you okay kid?" I said with a soothing voice as I extend my hand toward her while releasing a gentle smile.
But the next thing the girl did was surprise me as she charge into my arms as I felt on my butt but my arms unconsciously embrace the girl.
"It's ok, it's ok" I comforted her while patting her back as she started to cry.
After a while of comforting, the girl stopped crying but didn't let go as she was hugging me tightly.
"What's your name child?"
"Jessie"

A/N: Take note, Jessie's backstory here would be an Oc but I would still try to connect it to his Cannon past while making it reasonable.
