Barnacleboy

The novel so far is increadibly good rn. The mc seems like an actual character and his starter is quite uniqe. His Pokémon has some intresting personalities and character traits that make the novel intresting. The dialogue is really good, not quite as good as” jiodinos journey” which is another Pokémon fan fic but the author in that book tends to make his mc power hungry suddenly after the beginning of his novels and that doent seem to an issue with this one. So that’s a plus. If you read up till chapter 21 you’ll start getting into the intresting developmentopment of the book which goes into team plasma, there supposed fall and there recent return with intresting information about there newest plot to bring disaster to unova. The recent talks with the gym leaders have brought a bit more life with this novel since there is not a lot of human to human interaction (not saying there isn’t any as there is some every few chapters but there relitivly short) but I dont think that’ll be to much of an issue since the author has been focusing the beginning of the novel with him main team and there characters. Hopefully we will get to see a journey companion later in the novel thats human or if not just a recurring character that changes along with the story as the plot developes since its always nice to get a pov change every once in a while. It would also be cool to see the mc of black and white 2 Nate and rose at some point since they are the ones that originally take down team plasma in this timeline but thats just a opinion. All in all its a definite read. Its a nice change of pace since all fanfics like to start in Kanto for some reason and the writing quality is better than most pokemon fanfic out rn.
