Kapitel 753: Main Mission Completed

Axel was surprised by how fast Oak had worked it out. Romeo didn't look good as he had an angry face. He also seemed slightly tired and there were wounds on his face.

"Did Oak beat him up?", asked Axel to Blue.

"Yes, it must have happened. Dad is after all the Pokemon master and protecting humans is his job.", replied Blue.

"Axel, there is your Pokemon. You can now bring it back.", said Oak and handed the cage.

Pidgeot looked like it was in very bad shape. It was not permanently injured but its face showed that it had faced a lot of hardship and torture.

"Axel, can you tell me where you met the father of this Pokemon?"

"Yeah, I am not going to tell you. If you want an answer then ask Oak about it. I will not be dealing with you, Sir. Romeo.", said Axel and took the cage and then used the teleportation paper and disappeared.

"What was that?", asked Romeo. How did Axel teleport? He was very much surprised.

"How would I know? It is not like I babysit the kid all the time.", replied Oak and both of them looked at Blue for an answer.

"Hey, don't ask me. I also have no idea."

Axel did not think when he used that paper cause now all of them were looking at him with hostility. Their leader was in a cage and Axel had that cage. Obviously, all of them were ready to kill this human but in the meantime, the father appeared.

Axel immediately opened the cage as Oak had already given him the lock password and Pidgeot came outside.

The father looked at Pidgeot in every direction and after seeing that it was not seriously injured, it looked at Axel and said, "Mr. Axel, thank you for helping my daughter. I am thankful that you completed it so fast."

"Father, why are you thanking that human? Humans were the ones that captured me!!!", shouted the daughter as it was clearly very angry.

The father used its left wing and directly smacked the head of the daughter.

SMACKKK!!!

"This is the reason why you were kidnapped. You are still a kid. Can't you tell that there are good humans and bad humans just like good Pokemons and bad Pokemons? Is this the way to talk to your savior?

I made a mistake choosing you to be the leader so soon. You will receive some punishment."

The father then looked at Axel and said, "Sir Axel, sorry about my daughter. She is still too young and I have not been a good father. Just as per our deal, if you need any help or anything from me, just ask me and I will do it."

Axel didn't know what all of those really were. So, he looked into the description of the reward and then he was shocked. After that, he became very happy with the reward and just wanted to dance around. But he had to maintain his personality, so he didn't do anything.

The reward was those things that he sorely lacked and was searching for it.

Ice Path talked about all the directions and how to master the ice path. Similarly for fire path, wind path, and poison path.

This meant that Slowemperor, Charizard, Pidgeot, and Nidoking, would have no problem mastering their paths.

Unlike the moves, this could not be learned in an instant but the difficulty of learning it was reduced by 50%. That was huge. Also, with this, they didn't need a different environment to learn. They could learn in a different space but Axel had to open this space and for that, he had to do something.

He had to win in the next tide battle and none of his Pokemon could die. This was not issued as a quest but as a requirement, at least for Slowemperor's space.

There were different requirements for others but as of right now, Axel was focusing on this only.

"I will be busy for some time but can you train my Pidgeot for a couple of weeks? Flappy had been training under me for as long as I can remember. It is very dependable but it still doesn't know the culture and tradition of Pidgeot. So, can you train it? I will be back in a couple of weeks or a month to get it back.", said Axel.

The father Pidgeot agreed to it and now Pidgeot had become a part of their pack. They also gave him 2 Talismans so that he could come and go.

Finally, it was now time for Axel to meet with Gerad. He did ask if Blue wanted to tag along but Blue said that he would be busy with other things.

"Also, you need to face this yourself. I and Red will not always be here to help you. This is your team, so lead it as you like it.", said Blue which was also very true.

"Hector, are you ready?"

"Yes sir. We are ready to go again."

"Have you guys made any strategy to counter anything asked by Gerad?", asked Axel.

"Yes, we have made complete preparations. We will be moving right now. Actually, we will reach Kanto League city in a couple of days."

"Oh, that is nice. It might take me 3-4 days to get there. Settle there and then we will move forward but first, we have to plan for it."

Axel hung off the phone and told Hector to be ready for anything. Axel was very concerned about what Gerad would say and retaliate.

"Blue, where would you be going?"

"I will join my organization. There are some things that are concerning to me and I will have to have a meeting with them."

"Ok, do tell me if the problem is serious.", said Axel and got inside the plane.

Kanto League City was really a very beautiful city. It acted as a capital city for the Kanto region, but the scenery here was just breathtaking. It was totally covered by forest and trees and by the sea. The buildings were exquisite and it just smelled great.

After the tide, Axel expected that the city would take years to recover as the destruction was very high but the city had recovered in just a couple of months. Axel was the hero of the tide and the citizens loved him for saving their home place.

He went to the hotel room. Hector had booked a room for him and then he went to talk to them. They were supposed to meet at the meeting hall of the hotel in an hour.

This time, Only Hector, Troy, Sam, Mia, and Krishna had come to meet with him. Others were busy with the tide battle and they were making ample preparations.

"So, have you met all the preparations?", asked Axel.

"Yes sir. The 2 new teams are ready and they can be deployed at any time. We have also trained our Pokemons and the powers of the whole mercenary group have increased a lot.

So, we are ready for the tide battle.", said Hector.

"That is good. Now, have you made all the preparations for the next meeting?"

"Yes sir. We have made all the preparations. You don't need to worry about it. Your interview will be tomorrow at 9 a.m."

Axel went on to ask about the progress of each of their core members and also asked about the finances of the mercenary team. He found out that they were not doing well financially.

The whole base had been built and they had not done any quest for many months. So, they started to consume a lot of saved money and resources. Axel and the team had a saving of 1 trillion Poke dollars. That was the requirement from the league.

1 trillion Poke dollars was a very big amount but for a large mercenary team with hundreds and thousands of members, it was not such a big amount.

Now, this 1 trillion Poke dollars had decreased to 800 billion Poke dollars. The members and the base had consumed 200 billion Poke dollars in just a few months. Of course, the rate of doing quests had decreased for the past 4-5 months but this was a concerning thing and Axel needed to register the mercenary team anyhow now.

"Hello everyone to Divya Podcast. I am Kusum and I am the host of this evening. Now, we have told you that we have a special guest today. I have seen the comments and all of you are excited to know who that person is.

You don't need to wait for so long. Let's welcome Axel Blaze to the stage.", said Kusum and the camera turned towards Axel as he waved his hand.

The podcast people already noticed a lot of viewership after Axel's arrival. All of this was live.

"Mr. Axel, thanks for coming here and I believe that this is your first interview on a TV. So, are you feeling nervous somehow?", asked Kusum.

"No, I am fine with it. I may not have appeared in public much but I can handle an interview. Thanks for asking."

"If you have any questions or problems, do not hesitate to ask me. So, shall I start with the first question?"

"Yes, please."

"For all of the viewers who don't know about you, can you tell me something about yourself? Although I think that is highly unlikely.", said Kusum.

"Ok, My name is Axel Blaze and I am a trainer from the Kanto region. As of right now, I am on a journey in the Johto region."

"That is very modest of you. Mr. Axel is not only a powerful trainer at such a young age but he is also a researcher who discovered new types of eeveelutions and also solution for shadow Pokemons. He also discovered other evolution like the further evolution of Golbat and Nidorino. But that is not revealed to the public. Is there any reason for it?"

"Yes, there are reasons for it. First of all, let me tell all of you that if I were to find a new evolution for any other type of Pokemons, I don't have the responsibility to share it with the whole world.

So, I didn't think to reveal to the world about it right now. Regarding the evolution of Nidorino and Nidorina, the evolution conditions are too harsh and the resources needed for them are very rare.

The resources are found in some places but if I were to tell this to the public then these limited resources would be finished in a very short time which I don't want to happen. We have to maintain the balance in this world.

Regarding the further evolution of Crobat, this was not revealed as I had signed a contract with the Venu family. Once the contract expires, I will reveal it to the public."

Kusum started to ask about his journey and how powerful he was right now. Axel answered all of them with ease. Kusum was a very good host.

"Mr. Axel, the world knows that you are not only the successor of the Pokemon master but also a very talented trainer who stands at the top. There are a lot of rumors that your Pokemons are very powerful and almost all of them are now at king rank.

So, is there any training method to make the progress of your Pokemon faster? And if there is will you be open to sharing it with us?"

Axel gave a small smile after hearing this question.

"This is one of those questions that I get most of the time. Some of them say that since I am the successor of Oak, I have all the resources needed to advance my Pokemon. I will clear the doubts of all of you. You are very wrong.

The Pokemon master has helped me in some cases but not in terms of resources. Being the successor doesn't mean that I get all the benefits. I will have to earn it. All the resources that I have used for my Pokemons came from my hard work and I also come from a humble background.
