"You can't like nothing," I exclaimed.
"There isn't much that I'm interested in," Carlisle answered honestly, giving a shrug. I couldn't help but scrunch my brows together. What did men usually like? I thought about Richter and quickly chucked him out of my brain. It wasn't as if I should compare Carlisle to him after all. The two were very different.
Carlisle chuckled, "What are you interested in Percy?" He asked his friend.
Leyrin exhaled, "Gambling."
Percival paled, "Ley! I did it once!"
"And almost lost our fortune."
"She's overexaggerating," Percival said. He paused and stared at me. I gave him a smile on instinct. Was he still going to be cruel to me? "You have one thing you like," He said, "Her? Right?" He questioned staring at Carlisle.
"Are you trying to play a joke?" Carlisle questioned, quirking a brow. He tightened his grip on my hand.
"No," Percival grumbled. "I'm trying to be..."
