Kapitel 88: Do You Believe In Ghosts?

[Johan's POV]

The Subic Bay was a spectacular sight at night. Lights coming from boats and houses twinkled like fireflies in the dark. Johan fiddled with the seatbelt as he sank himself into the car seat. He'd be lying if he said he didn't find Alden's car more convenient than commuting on a bus or jeep.

'He's spoiling me too much that I don't feel like going to work anymore. Fuck.'

Johan ran his thumb over Alden's knuckles resting above his thigh, wondering if he should consider being the Chef's bitch his entire life. He scrunched his face in distaste. No matter how comfortable the life Alden offered, Johan just couldn't get used to it.

"I'm going back to Taguig this June," Alden said, giving a small squeeze to his thigh, one hand on the steering wheel. He threw Johan a quick glance. "Class is resuming in three weeks."

"Okay."
