[Adrian's POV]

Forlorn eyes on the white ceiling of his room, Adrian sprawled on his bed in his white sleeveless undershirt and a blue stripe boxer shorts, a smartphone in his hand. It's been days since Johan made it clear to him what they were. He couldn't argue. They never had a proper label to their relationship. They were never boyfriends; just friends with sexual benefits.

'If that was the case, then why does it hurt like this?'

Adrian turned to his side and stared at Johan's photo on his phone. It was the one he took as they hiked through the narrow rice field banks going to Kristoff's place. Johan was holding his wrist, his back turned away while his white buttoned-up shirt moved along with the gust of fresh air. Those days were filled with happiness that it now felt like a distant fantasy.
