At his gesture, a flash of light sparked, and a woman materialized before them. She was a Kuja, evident from her exotic beauty and hardened warrior aura. Shakky's stern face softened upon seeing her.
"Marly!" she exclaimed, relief washing over her. The rest of the Kuja crew rushed forward, embracing the rescued woman in a heartwarming reunion.
After the initial waves of relief passed, Shakky turned to Jack with a newfound respect. "Thank you."
Jack flashed her a nonchalant grin. "It's fine. I was planning to raid the place anyway."
Shakky scrutinized Jack, her gaze softened. She detested men, yet here was one who had just saved one of her own. There was something different about him, she conceded.
"How did you do it? How could you cause such a commotion?" she asked, her mind spinning as she attempted to unravel the mystery. "Even at the ship, we could hear the mayhem. We thought something had happened."
As Shakky asked him about the mayhem at the auction house, Jack gave a smirk and leaned back, stretching his legs out on the ship's deck.
"Simple. I let the cat out of the bag," he began.
Shakky blinked, the ambiguity of the statement not lost on her. The women of the Kuja Pirates gathered around, their curiosity piqued.
He cast his gaze over the women. "The World Noble was after a prize, a supposed Kuja slave. I manipulated the auction house from the start," Jack began, his voice cool and steady. "I knew the World Noble would be there."
He began, his tone nonchalant. ""Remember when I had Shakky sell me as a slave? I did that intentionally."
"But why?" One of the girls asked.
Jack's icy blue eyes met hers, a flicker of amusement in his gaze. "Because that was the easiest way to infiltrate the auction house. The explosive collar? That wasn't a concern. I knew I could get rid of it."
As he explained, the women gasped, awed at the audacity of his plan. "You removed the collar? But how..." one started to ask.
Then Jack began to explain his plan, making all the girls look at him in awe. "See, I knew the World Noble was obsessed with owning a Kuja. So, I decided to use that to my advantage," Jack started. His voice carried the ease of a seasoned story-teller, drawing his audience in with an irresistible force.
Shakky listened intently as Jack explained his plan. As he wove the narrative, she couldn't help but be impressed by the audacity and cunning of the man before her. Jack had created a situation in which he was both the bait and the executioner, ensuring the Noble would fall into his trap while ensuring his own safety.
"But how did you get rid of the collar?" one of the girls questioned, her eyes wide with astonishment.
Jack let out a low chuckle, his icy-blue eyes twinkling with amusement. "The collar was designed to explode if I tried to remove it. But that only applied if I was attempting to remove it while it was around my neck. I, however, have an ability. An ability to store things away," he explained.
"Store things away?" Another girl asked, her brows furrowed in confusion.
Jack simply nodded, his lips curling into a smirk. "Exactly. I have a certain... abilirt that lets me temporarily store things away from the physical world. When the collar was stored away, it was as good as not being on my neck. Thus, I was able to remove it without any trouble."
The girls exchanged surprised glances. Shakky watched them, a knowing smirk playing on her lips. She knew Jack was not an ordinary man, but his abilities exceeded even her expectations.
"The chaos caused by the sudden disappearance of all the slaves, including the prized Kuja. The auction house was in complete disarray, the audience in panic, and the guards were too flustered to react immediately," he explained, leaning back against the mast, his posture casual despite the weight of his words.
"You caused the slaves to disappear... How?" one of the Kuja pirates questioned, her voice laced with awe and incredulity.
"I simply stored them away," Jack responded, a spark of mischief dancing in his eyes.
The Kujas exchanged bewildered glances. Their minds worked furiously, trying to comprehend the scale of Jack's ability. This man had disrupted an auction house, one of the most secure places in the world, as though it were child's play.
"You... you saved all of them?" Shakky asked, her voice choked with emotion. Jack merely shrugged, a ghost of a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth.
"That was the plan," Jack replied, crossing his arms over his chest. "If there was a single slave, the plan might not have worked. The auction house could have quickly realized what happened and handed over the slave to the World Noble as a gesture of appeasement. There were many other possibilities that could have ruined my plan."
"So, you caused the ruckus and got the World Noble furious," a Kuja ventured, her eyes glimmering with a mix of awe and amusement.
He paused, gazing at the ocean. The moonlight reflected off his icy-blue eyes, casting an ethereal glow. "So, I decided to go for the most audacious option - cause mayhem and take advantage of the chaos."
He glanced at Shakky, a spark of mirth in his eyes. "Remember the World Noble's tantrum? That was part of the plan. You see, the Nobles, they are akin to spoilt brats. If they can't get what they want, they lose their minds. I simply provided the perfect scenario for him to lose control."
There was silence on the ship's deck. All the Kujas watched him, their faces a mix of shock, awe, and respect. Shakky, for her part, was struggling to keep her jaw from dropping. She had known that Jack was different, that he was special. But this... This was a level of audacity and brilliance she hadn't anticipated.
"You... You played them like a fiddle," Shakky murmured, her voice barely a whisper.
Jack shrugged, looking nonchalant. "It's just a matter of perspective and opportunity."
"During the following chaos, it was easy." He then added, his voice laced with self-satisfaction. His icy-blue eyes glimmered with a hint of smugness.
"What chaos?" Shakky asked, her brows knitting together. She had a sinking feeling that what she was about to hear would shock her even more.
"When the World Noble couldn't get his prize, he threw a tantrum. He ordered his guards to seize every slave there and then." Jack started, a smirk playing on his lips as he remembered the scene. "He even called in the Navy to make sure his orders were carried out."
The Kujas gasped, their eyes wide with shock. They had heard of the World Nobles' cruelty and disregard for others, but hearing it from someone who had witnessed it firsthand made it all the more appalling.
"But the escape... The guards... How did you manage to get past them?" one of the Kujas asked, her voice filled with wonder.
"Marines are basically World Nobles' dogs," Jack began, his voice calm and steady, a stark contrast to the unsettling story he was about to unfold. "They came as fast as they could and locked down the place so no one could escape."
The women shared uneasy glances, their faces a mirror of their inner turmoil. The idea of Marines, who were supposed to uphold justice, being reduced to mere lapdogs for the World Nobles was unsettling, to say the least.
"But you escaped. How did you manage that?" Shakky questioned, her voice reflecting her bewilderment.
Jack's icy-blue eyes shone with a mischievous glint as he leaned back, a casual air enveloping him. "I simply created an opportunity," he replied, his voice holding a note of amusement.
The women watched him, their eyes wide with curiosity and anticipation. "What do you mean by 'created an opportunity'?" one of the girls asked, her voice trembling slightly.
A smirk tugged at the corner of Jack's mouth. "I kidnapped the World Noble."
The women gasped, their eyes widening in sheer shock. The World Nobles were known to be untouchable, a privilege of their high social status. Kidnapping a World Noble was unprecedented, and undeniably, an act of rebellion.
"You...what?" Shakky stammered, her disbelief evident. "You kidnapped a World Noble?"
Jack merely shrugged, his icy-blue eyes dancing with mirth. "I needed a distraction. The marines had locked down the place. The World Noble... well, he was the perfect bait."
He paused, letting the words sink in. The women exchanged surprised glances, the enormity of Jack's actions slowly dawning on them.
"Did you... did you just use a World Noble as a decoy?" a Kuja questioned, her voice a barely audible whisper.
Again, Jack just shrugged. "The marines were busy trying to search the slaves. They didn't expect someone to kidnap the World Noble. The chaos provided the perfect opportunity to escape."
Stunned by the audacious revelation, Shakky and the rest of the women were left speechless, the reality of Jack's recklessness looming over them like an impending storm. They shot Jack wide-eyed glances, disbelief painted on their faces. The usually boisterous hall fell into silence, each occupant lost in their own thoughts.
