The palace gates opened as our carriage approached. Brenlyn pulled back the carriage's curtain out of curiosity. We took a peek. The palace was comparable to Francua's. Pillars were overlaid with green and white marble. The courtyard was filled with white daisies and red rose bushes and they were in bloom. There were also a couple of trees which provided shade.
We looked at each other as we realized that the castle was heavily guarded and well-built. There were four towers on the corners and the fort was enclosed in tall walls of red bricks. The carriage stopped. The footmen opened the door and held their hands to assist my descent. I accepted one.
