As Lucian closed in on Vassilis Glaider, the man turned to lock a fiery gaze on him.
Why is he so intent? The man seemed to have a problem with Lucian specifically, but he was not the only Demian expert running amok through the army. Sure it had been his and Tess' appearance in the backline that caused enough chaos to allow for it all, but the man's gaze seemed personal.
Glaider's eyes began to burn a multicolored hue as that aura of radiance collected once more, and Lucian knew he had to get his head in the game.
Power exploding forth, his own eyes glowed a burning white to match, and just as the surroundings shook, glaider releasing another beam of concentrated light, Lucian threw himself to the side with as much speed as The Heart of Dawn could provide, avoiding the dreadful attack by a hair's breadth and charging on.
